Mega Millions Math
That is probably the best way to play the game. Spend 46 dollars and play the same 5 white balls. You gaurantee yourself at least $2 back and if those 5 white balls come up you will win the jackpot and make the 2nd tier prize para-mutual. So really you cut your odds down to 1 in less than 4 million. What is wrong with that?Brad

Ga midday M.J. plays
Good one/s Mr. G That 2 number come back took its time didn't it? (for something thats suppose to hit every 9 draws average) Now for the all evens and all odds. All rights too for that matter. The 6 digit was one of the Key Three again.

Louisiana pick 3
It is the worst state to play in, Demi. They are almost or are maxed out in the triples...if I were going there, that is what i would play................low cost...high return......I have a word for them ...cost conscious.........the only thing is the odds are very low............but they are very, very overdue...........I personally wouldn't play anything there.

Connecticut likely to stick with Powerball
I'm happy to see CT keep PB in the game because they need to compete with MM. If CT had dropped PB, they could join MM or start their own lottery. Either way, CT made the right decision to stay in PB or go with MM with 176 million to 1 odds.

Texas lottery director stands firm amid attacks
Orangeman: You're on drugs, right? Take any major state lotto game and drop the starting jackpot down to a million dollars. While you're at it, kiss a big chunk of your game sales and profits goodbye (I've made my living in this business - designing games for lotteries including Texas for over 15 years). No one will play a game that starts at a million ini a state the size of Texas. Have you actually seen what happens to sales at the 3 - 4 million level? Do you have any idea how many draws i

7 number wheels with high guarantee?
The trouble with wheels is regardless of the strategy used to position some of your numbers in the wheel, you still have to follow the wheel layout to take advantage of its guarantee. If I could afford to play 163 lines, I would prefer to follow some other strategy to position my numbers rather than one that would guarantee a $1 win, after all the odds of winning a dollar is 1:54 no matter what strategy you use.btw: none of my strategies have made me a jackpot winner.RJOh

Why gamble at Online Lottery Sites?
Yes, i believe that is extremely expensive, having to pay double of what it originally costs!I don't really see how that is so funny... And why in heavens name would i play USA Powerball, with such odds? Same thing the other way. Euromillions is pretty much 1:75000000, at a price of $2,50/ticket.Mathematically untrue, practically true, playing euromillions online for $5/ticket means you have half the chance as someone playing it 2 /ticket since the last one can buy twice the amount of tickets co

7 number wheels with high guarantee?
The wheel played above its guarantee which you clearly proved, the rest is dependent on how you position your numbers on the wheel. You need a strategy beyond throwing all the numbers up in the air and playing them for 527 draws however they fell on the wheel. btw: Look how close you came with that 5# win, the odds of winning a jackpot on that day were 1 in 44 of getting the last number correct, what would you be saying if there had been a jackpot win?
