Is NY Lotto the world's worst game?
Way cool. I gotta get to Port Jervis and buy tickets. They ought to make that permanent. That essentially lowers the overall odds to 1 in 27!

Poll... pick-5 daily numbers
The odds would obviously be 1 in 100,000, and a pay-off of $50,000 for straight, unless it was a paramutuel state. I know I would definitely say yes to it. It would be nice to hear your opinions.

Hypothetical question...
Once a lottery matrix and the group size to be picked is set, the numbers of possible outcomes and odds of predicting them can't be manipulated if the results are random. When the lottery set the matrix, the group sizes and the prize payout amounts, they control all that is necessary to guarantee they make money regardless of the success of any prediction scheme in a totally random game. If some one comes up with a way to win often, the lottery will first investigate to see if they have some k

$1.75 million Hot Lotto ticket purchased in West Virginia
Doesn't make me want to play. $500,000 (cash after taxes) is not worth those odds. I'll stick with the Match 6 here in PA.

Texas (Im)Possibles.
Pair KingOnline you can get paid $150 per $1 winning number (for singles, doubles pay more) , and the total of boxed combos counting triples and doubles is 220, the singles are only 120, who can beat this odds, the state lotteries can't.If you would play 50 combos per draw and win only 1 out of 3 you would come even, if you sometimes win 2 out of 3 then you make a profit. So I might start to post 40 to 50 combos for online players.

Union Jack Pick 3 Method
Thanx, empassioned1, i've tested it quite a few times now, and it does not work well for Belgian pick 3, as is now.I've been playing around with 1.618 in the calculations and to my surprise it comes closer to being a system to really test for several weeks. (moving the numbers per combination, in all ten combinations that the system provides, get the odds up for getting an exact match.) Anyway, thanx alot,G's

Have you ever bought more than you should
I have found that I spent far more on state lotteries when they got a really high jackpot then MM or Powerball. By not playing multi-state games until it hits 300 million the odds of it rolling past that are incredably low since it has never happened. With state games you really never know what it can roll to. I can say that Washington and Oregon have both saved me money by switching to computer drawings since then I spend far less on any game.
