Connecticut Gov. considers dumping Powerball
It hurts the most when you could be the one losing the ability to play Powerball. CO and I are on the same side of the fence right now.I do like the new game. No more $10 million jackpots. 100% increase in the top tier consolation prizes for a lot less of an increase in the odds...Powerplay. What's not to like?

Connecticut Gov. considers dumping Powerball
If she does not like powerball's odds then she definitely won't like mega millions and they would not let a small state in any ways. That graduated annuity sure does blow chunks I think I will take the cash when I win.

Connecticut Gov. considers dumping Powerball
Somebody has to threat to pull out of powerball else they would go ahead with their outrageous odds. A steak of winners is gonna make the game very difficult for me. I hope when the matrix is changed, the add a new state. Else CT can go. I think CT might be favoring MM and just thinks that PB is a mistake. I think so too for TN.

billion dollar jackpots
if they have a top prize of 300 plus million with the old format then it makes sense to me with increased odds a billion isn't out of linethat is just too large a jackpotof course i think 200 million is too much

Any experience with Netlotto?
Yes, of course playing 10 combinations will improve your odds. But the arithmetic's inescapable. Playing 100 combinations will improve them by a further factor of 10. I agree $2 per entry is pretty steep, but personally I'd prefer to play 100 entries every 10 weeks than 10 entries every week. The NetLotto User Guide contains some useful investment strategies. If you'd like a free, no-obligation copy, send me an email and I'll send you one as a .pdf attachment.

My Top 5 Games
Paul, here's my Top 5 lottery games.5. Powerball (with PowerPlay)Sometimes I think that not playing the PowerPlay would be a sucker bet. The prize will at least double so it will have the same effect as buying $2 of the same combo. But when you think about it, when the multiplier hits 5, that increases the lower payouts to a 125% payout (CO, don't reference NY Lotto, please, I don't want to hear it). And just think, when the new matrix starts, Chuck Strutt said that there might be an occasional

TN and lotto south?
keep the same matrix with tennessee added to the states, and then let the jackpot rise in accordance with how much money hadn't been paid out so far. in essence, run it like hot lotto and the jackpot will rise faster when no one wins. newer matrix = crappier odds. not something i'd be in favor. the mentality of most lottery ticket buyers is incredible.

175,711,536 possible MM combination
I think the odds of 175,711,536 combinations to get 1 winning ticket, someone has to win soon. However, most people would get 2+0, 1+0, and 0+0, so MM profits. How many combinations does it take to get 0+0, 1+0, and 2+0, assuming if it's a 5/56+1/46?
