Does picking the hottest number improve your odds?
If you would pick the hottest number of x drawings, would this improve or not your odds of winning?

Would you share your winning lottery system if you had one ?
There will always be an element of luck in a system. At best I think a winning system is only going to shift the odds in your favor to a big degree and will never predict the exact winning numbers.
For example in Mega Millions the normal odds of winning a Jackpot are 175 million to one. I think I have a system that roughtly reduces those odds to 7.5 million to one at this point. Those are still very LONG odds and I'm still a LONG way from winning but I would never play if the odds were really

Florida Lottery's repeat winners don't always come out ahead
I think the odds on ANY casino game are more in the favor of gamers than the odds on any state online lottery games

Question for Ohio??
In a way most lottery games seem to be rigged, but that's because most players don't understand the odds. The odds of winning any prize in MM is 40 to 1; 39 tickets out of every 40 will be losers and it's 32 to 1 in PB. The odds against matching a Pick-3 number straight is 999 to 1 and the payoff is 499 to 1. The lotteries keep 50 cents out of every dollar and if you check the yearly financial reports on the Ohio Lottery website, you'll see they average about 50% in profits on that game.

Why Play Pwerball or Mega-Millions ?? Play you're States games !!
My state biggest game is Classic Lotto and the overall odds of winning a prize are 1:54 and the odds of winning 3of6 for $2 are 1:57.
MegaMillions overall odds of winning a prize are 1:39.8 and the odds of winning 0+1 for $2 are 1:75.
You are more likely to win something playing MM than you are playing CL for the same price and if you do get lucky and win the jackpot, you are going to win a lot more. Sure the odds of winning the state game jackpots are better but the number of people who h

Post your scratch ticket results
That post was in response to MDguy's post about 1 in 2.1 or so odds....which by the way are pretty good. If you play, you have
to understand the odds. They're not to be taken as for every 4 tickets you buy on a ticket with odds listed as 1 in 4 that you'll win.
It's the total odds for the entire printing.
It's not griping about the odds themselves. The gripe is about how they use the odds figures to their advantage and mislead people
who actually believe that if they buy 4, they'll w
