Mega Millions fuels California lottery sales record
I don't share the enthusiasm of everyone else. Increasing the number field makes it that much MORE difficult to WIN. Why do we let ourselves agree to stack the odds further against us for an increased prize amount when that sum of money is made that much more difficult to win? Will someone please explain that to me?

Anti-lottery group will file lawsuit against Mega Millions in Calif.
If they temporarily succeed and take California offline do you think the odds would revert back to the old matrix or do you think the other mm members would keep the current matrix? If California goes off line say temporarily and the matrix doesn't change do we then witness a $500 million jackpot and how long does it take to get there?Could we see a half billion dollar jackpot by the end of the year after all? I for one thought we might see an occasional $300 million purse but this course of even

Actually, I don't think it will roll over any more or any less than it has in the past. They've kept the player:odds ratio pretty much the same.

The Michigan Weekly-6/18 thru 6/25
Nice call in that matrix Bob......I counted the 6 way numbers in that matrix.....there are 79 numbers I believe....I am incredibly stupid for not using that as my reference and playing from that matrix exclusively.............no more...............it is basically a 1 in 79 chance of winning....better odds than what we had.................my eyes have opened (I am a stubborn old gal).....

My Mega Millions program
Hi vbmx,Random number generator is a piece very important in your software because it is how the customer select the numbers to choose from next draw, but for experience I could say that this type of selection do not improve the odds, then you are selling numbers that have same performance as quick picks. This type of software is for people that don't care about number statistics, they only want quick picks to play and expect the lucky factor (I don't believe in this factor) to win something.Re

Apparently your odds of winning with cookies is pretty good. Better get used to the idea of sharing though since many others are catching on and using fortune cookies as well.
