New Pb MM odds of winning
Unfortunately, most of the Powerball state lotteries cannot afford to set up their own pick 6 game, and that's what Powerball's predecessor, LottoAmerica, began as. Unfortunately, their idea worked too well, and we've wound up with astronomical odds in the Powerball and Mega Millions games as results.

100 dollar scratch off
I would only play if the odds were 1:1. What I mean by that is every ticket would have to be a winner. However 1:2.5 you win all your money back.

Too many numbers
Tntea...I totally agree with you....I rarely look at predictors that have over 10 numbers listed..sometimes some have 12 or so and I will look...but when it gets to 20-50 numbers...well my thought there is the same as yours....thats not that good of odds. I try to find a common number or pair for the state in which I am playing....It would be great to see all predictors scale down to 10 each, but I understand there are many ways to pick a winner so most like to pick many numbers and then compare

Powerball JP is now $215 Million
Well, to each their own. I personally think the odds are high enough into the stratosphere, and there's no need to engage in some kind of competition to see which lottery game can generate the most bloated jackpot. Besides, with California on board, combined with Powerball's jackpot increase-limiting cap, Mega Millions will not be caught. I like Powerball right where it is.

Congrats Predictors: Tuesday 5/24/05
Any time our prize ratio is over 50% then we have beat the natural odds against us due to the states' 50% minimum take .So as MJ said, it was a good day for the predictors. WTG to all winners!

Unlucky for Life Mon-Thu
Ok I'll play those two. You can forget Instant games. I wanted to play the $10-$20 games until I saw the odds.

The lottery post seems to be full of wann
You really don't have to know a lot about a member to check them out. Look at when Adolf became a member (10/17/02) two and a half years ago, then look at his life time predictions statistics (3:315) and then look at them by state and game type. They were pick5 in Virginia and the overall odds of a hit in the Virgina Cash5 (5/34) is 1:66. That should tell you something about Adolf prediction skills.RJOh

Where would you draw the line?
The best odds for a $5 scratcher I've seen in NY is Million Dollar Mania at 1:4.58... the sad thing is as of 5/15/05, there's only 2 Million Dollar Mania top prizes left, and only 1 Max A Million top prize left. Personally I'm not gonna pay $5 to try to catch a $5,000 second prize. I'll just wait until a new batch comes out. Also, I hope they're not lying about the 1-2 top prizes left, only to keep the game running longer to try to sell off those second prize tickets. I mean who would know?
