good question jag - I just noticed that date also. usually they make the anouncement to take place for the drawing the rules change occurs on. What are people on sunday going to buy - reduced odds tickets. Or are there going to be no ticket sales on the 28th?

Maverick,You are correct. Buy 10 tickets and you have the same odds of winning a $10m jackpot as winning a $200m jackpot. I'm just more inclined to buy those 10 tickets at the $200m level because I want to win big.

Yep, currently the largest single state jackpot in the country. Of course, it also has the longest odds of any single state lotto jackpot in the country.
