MM Drawing for Tuesday 03-22-05

It would be interesting to know the total number of lines we all played as a group and if we as a group bested the overall odds of 1:43 with our total wins, you only need 1-3 numbers in the right position for a win.RJOh

Powerball changing, will you still play?
I think a $2 ticket price is NOT what I want. Keeping the price at one dollar was something Megamillions got right. People would tolerate a change in the odds much better than a change in price. For instantance my mom rarely buys tickets. But if the jackpot gets really big she'll chip in a buck. I have a feeling there are a lot of players that only chip in $1 and those players really add up.

PA Lucky For Life Lotto
one (or more) of three things would have to happen first.1. incredible inflation and a grand means nothing.2. $5 or $10 a play.3. incredibly high odds. (i'm talking make it a pick 6/100+).i'd go or $1000 a week for life instead.

Quote: Originally posted by prettybrown1 on March 22, 2005I want to know how to figure out the best numbers to play in the rolling cash5......The only problem I have that I cannot download softwear to the computer because it's the school ....... Use a paper and pencil system or just buy some QP's (quick picks). Either way, your odds of winning are the same as using a computer. Good luck to you.RJOh

Powerball changing, will you still play?
As if the game is easy to win now. The jackpots aren't enough considering the current odds. $10 million in a state lottery like Washington would be great. I'd play it in a heart beat but for 120 million to one I expect a bigger prize. I can only hope they fix it soon and toss the stupid rules regarding record jackpots as well.

Too many players winning Powerball, lottery says
Yeah, but if Mega Millions changes the odds, they'll have higher jackpots and even less people will play Powerball. I myself have played Powerball only once since the beginning of the year because Mega Millions and even the Illinois Lotto have had larger jackpots.

Powerball changing, will you still play?
The agency running the Powerball lottery may decrease the odds of winning the multimillion-dollar jackpot to stem a record-setting run of winners that is keeping jackpots small and, the agency says, causing ticket sales to plunge. Ok like it was already hard to win on my part so now they are making it even harder?Forget it, Im sticking with hotlotto!

Ga Cash 3 Hot Sets for 2/21 thru 2/27
waaaaa....boo hoo....no hit at lunch. Guess I should take the hint and just stop playing.Sir MetroPS:FYI: Odds are, if previous performance is a sign of what could happen, these numbers should go on the Do NOT play list for GA this week. Just a thought.

Streak of jackpot winners is bad luck for Powerball lottery sales
Lots of reading and thoughts in these posts.Having read them plus re-reading my own I just played my last multi-State Lottery the odds are just overwhelmingly against you and now to boost sales they are changing the matrix. I started playing PB and MM because I too was lured in by big money. At first I too dreamed of wanting to live large as the years went by my thoughts also changed. I will still play but on a state level only;Lottomike and Maverick I join you
