New Georgia lottery scratch game popular with players
The overall odds of winning any prize in the Million Dollar scratch game are one in 1.322 versus one in 2.56 in another popular ten dollar scratch game. The retailers cannot keep this game on the shelves.....People know there are 6 more Million Dollar tickets out there in addition to the other large prizes.I wonder how many players know the payout( if one is so lucky) is an annuity over 20 years ?I will gladly take 50k per year for 20 years, but somehow that does not feel like a million dollars.

Anyone got an idea for a new type of lott
Quote: Originally posted by LOTTOMIKE on February 26, 2005i thought of a game where the pick three and pick four are played where if you guess both game right in one day you get 20,000 dollars but you have to get both the pick three and pick four straight......LOTTOMIKE, We must be tracking, I was thinking the same idea, but thought that you also could match the numbers boxed for a smaller prize, and agree with the Dr. that the straight prize whould have to be much larger than 20k. Anyone got an idea for a new type of lott
i would give out a lot more than $20,000. that's picking a 7 digit number straight. that should have a top prize of $5 million if anyone is that good at predicting numbers. here's how i did the math. 10 to the 7th power is 10 million. the lottery pays out half the odds. therefore, the prize would be $5 million. any questions?

double cash(pick three and four combined)
That sounds pretty interesting Mike. They could even make something like that pari-mutuel and have bigger payoffs because of the odds against hitting both, there would be a lot of rollovers.Hope somebody sees your idea and does something with it.

Pick 3 #999
Yeah Mike,I did the same thing with AZ for 8 yrs back and saw only 15 triples total with 777 hitting the most at 3 times and 999 never. Seems like that would be against the odds but I don't know. You KNOW what's going to happen if you don't go play 777 and 888 today now, don't you?

powerball or mega millions
I think Powerball is better. Not just because the odds are better but also because they offer the Power Play option. I hope Mega Millions' current jackpot of $112 million vice Powerball's $10 million isn't influencing people's voting!

Ky/Tn/Ga Week of 2/20/05
I think if trips fall in Tn today they would be even, every time which isn;t many, all odds fall before even , before 222 came733 before 777 came 639 before the other 222 719 before the444 171 we are way overdue double 2's and 8's , I the sum of 24 has been out 135 draws or maybe the 882 today root of 9. Good luck everyone. Miss Bee

powerball or mega millions
I have been told that the odds are better for Powerball but seeing the bigger 2nd place prize of $175,000 with Mega compared to the $100,000 2nd place prize of PB, I would prefer Mega..It seems also that there are always 5 or 6 2nd place winners with Mega and few with PB. I know it's due to more players but it still makes it more attractive.

state lottery games
Quote: Originally posted by lazyjim on February 24, 2005 I'd go with Mega. There seems to be a lot more 2nd place winners of $175,000 compared with Powerball's 2nd place $100,000 which seems to have far fewer winners. Naturally, I'm nowhere near a Mega state. The odds are a little better to pick up 2nd prize in MM than in PB. That and more people play MM.
