What is the value of the home that they're offering? I play the St. Judes home raffle and the house comes furnished with a value of $550-$600k.

The Humane Society is doing a car raffle in which they offer your choice of two different luxury vehicles from their list. Each ticket cost $100 plus a one time $100 entry fee. I think the total number of tickets is 3000 or 3500 so it sounds tempting as I would choose a Porsche Convertible and a Tesla model S if I were lucky enough to win. Anyone here familiar or had any experience with Tesla?

Probably going to set the bar at $20-25.00 on a raffle ticket.....$150 is a bit out of my norm..unless 95% of the proceeds went to a special fund dealing with childhood diseases.

I don't buy them either! The only raffle tickets I buy is if I'm at a school event and my kids are trying to win some type of prize. They are usually .50cents each!

True, but do you know how long that list would be! I dont think people would even bother to look at it for a small prize. I know I hated scrolling through the list, hundreds of numbers long looking to see if I won on a raffle drawing and those numbers were in order.

I won 4 roundtrip tickets good for 2 years with no blackouts or restrictions on Alaska Airlines back in 2003... I spent $1 on the raffle ticket..

I'm not one for spending big at one time on tickets but I would gladly spend $50 for $1000. The highest I've won from scratch offs is $100. I won $500 the first year they did the Millionaire Raffle thing about 5 years ago, so congrats on your first $1000. Hope to see more wins from you and hopefully me too lol.
