West virginia cash 25 payouts
CASH Only: No I haven't tried Hot Lotto. That must be a fairly new game. However, in looking at the odds, I think I would still prefer Cash 25.

MM Drawing for Tuesday 02-15-05
u-gv-wi-u-hi, i have noticed that. but with this new system it bypassed (49) and put (46) in it's place, so i'll have to buck the odds this time and give this time to prove it's worth... u-hi-i-gi-li 10

712 for Texas midday??
I am going to play 763 also from another post I saw. I am usually one number off, so we will see where this leads me too. If I am one number off from the 5 and the 6 plays instead then I win. Besides, this gives me at least one even which I am more comfortable with then having all Odds as the above post has.We shall see! :-)Dave

Mega Millions when CA joins
CD:Yes, there will definitely be changes. Unfortunately, I fear that they will be increasing the size of the first matrix. I have already seen that the second prize will be increased to $250,000, and that would mean they're making it harder to win that prize (hence the larger prize). I assume they'll also lower the Mega Ball matrix. I'm expecting odds somewhere in the 1 in 150 million range. I'm not liking that too much, but what are you going to do?

MI Winfall.
Yes I have noticed it. We haven't had a winfall in months because people keep winning it. But I don't see how they keep winning it. haha. I mean i doubt the lotter is even selling about $300,000 worth of the tickets each drawing and less even on Mondays. I mean the odds are over 1 in 13 million. I just want another winfall and soon. hahaBrad

CALIFORNIA JOINS MEGA MILLIONS
I assume people on here actually want to win a lottery. Why would anyone who hasn't won a jackpot say Mega Millions (or any lottery) should increase already astronomical odds? Do you just want to donate money to the state or 1 or 2 $300 million winners a year? What about your self-interest in actually winning something? At the very least you should demand no changes for 2 years to see how it works out in reality.

Powerball as you have never seen it
RJOh,I haven't really removed .9974% of the combinations. They are still there. My Power Ball just had 309,043 tickets that cost $390.00 each.Odds are the same. If I can get all mine out, there will be a winner. The numbers drawn tonight are in my computer right now.Mike

Mega Millions lottery to introduce changes when California joins game
I don't see them making major changes in the game's structure. Increasing the overall odds will cause a disproportionate loss in the game's aggregate revenues as players migrate to their border states for PowerBall tickets.More likely, in my opinion, would be the introduction of the Megaplier feature in order to increase sales.

Mega Millions lottery to introduce changes when California joins game
Quote: Originally posted by mrmst on February 10, 2005 I think CA demanded some changes to insure big jackpots - since New York and Texas have come on board we have not seen very many really big ones. I think it will be a matrix change to make the odds longer.when new york joined was when it went from the big game to mega millions.
