I just dont understand!?!?!
When Powerball was only $1 a ticket, I would buy tickets even at $20M if Hoosier Lotto was under $5M After Hoosier Lotto reaches $5M, I usually didn't bother buying Powerball tickets until it got up to $100M. Now that Powerball is $2 a ticket, I won't play until it reaches $100M, at which time I'll only buy 1 ticket. After it reaches $200M, I might buy 2.
The problem is the new price to odds ratio compared to the old price to odds ratio. They doubled the price, in yet they only took the odds

Powerball Jackpot
I've played lotteries for years and can remember when the odds printed on the play slips were based on the price to buy all the possible combinations. For example when Ohio had a 6/55 game and the real odds of winning the jackpot were 1:28,989,675, it was printed as 1:14,494,837 on the play slips since 2 boards cost a dollar and when they later went to a dollar per board with a 6/49 game, the odds printed on the play slips were 1:13,983,816. Hoosier Lotto
Independent. I recently came up with 2 more filters and have been playing with just those 2 for the last 2 drawings, just so I can test them out. With just those 2 filters applied my odds for a single line has been chopped down to about 1 in 1,650,000. So for a $5 ticket using those 2 filters, I'm looking at about 1 in 330,000 to win the jackpot. Not exactly the best odds, but still way better than 1 in 12,271,512, and for a jackpot game, that's pretty darn good. The odds should get even better
