GM Neurosleep, I guess TLC sounded the security alarm on your call yesterday at least for the morning draw. Crazy deck is stacked against us. Even when we have wheeler's pairs, it's still tough to get a hit because there are 6 pair combos to even start with....

Are You Willing To Trade No Taxation For Max Publicity
100% BOX #2 With no publicity (and therefore not having to pay for lawyers to handle litigious lawsuits from greedy people, not having to pay for security and not having to pay for a hideout until the furor dies down) it means I'd still end up financially and emotionally ahead anyway. I'll pay the taxes and then live life to the fullest without any of the drawbacks that come with unwanted notoriety.

More big Lottery winners using trusts to stay anonymous
My state is awful, the publish the first, middle, and last name of winners along with street address, date of birth, and social security number. Great way to leave someone open to identity theft huh?

Bill would allow Texas Lottery winners to pay for anonymity
I know it sounds like legalized extortion but Texas does not have a state income tax. In NC, they withhold 6% for state income taxes initially but then hit you with the balance of an additional 1.75% when you file your taxes. If I bought a winning jackpot ticket in TX, I would bypass the anonymity tax and just hire my own security for a year. After a year, even the most hardcore moochers/criminals will have long given up.

Lucky for Life Total Results
Are you claiming that individual states don't post the names and identifying information about the winners, in their states ??? If so, that's a good idea, NOT to make this information so easily available to the public, for safety reasons. If the states would just post the number of prizes won, at each level, in each state, and the number of remaining prizes, that would be sufficient. Keep the names and other identifying information of the winners confidential, for security.

300 people didn't claim their 1million dollar lotto tickets in 2013!
And not to be completely cynical about the source, but I also remember last fall there was a news story about the largest personal data breach in history... The story had legs for a few days until some people in the press realized the source of the story was a company that offered personal data security solutions. But the details of the data breach were fuzzy at best. Nonetheless, take steps to protect your ID; check your purchased tickets.

May 9th, 2000
I noticed that this Saturday's drawing worth $360 million would put it in position #13 all time. Then something about position #12 caught my attention that got me thinking. It was won on May 9th, 2000. Wow. Has it been so long? Todd shows as the first member here May 31st, 2000. 15 years ago? It seems just like yesterday but when noticing it was called the big game i realized just how fast time flys. It caught my attention because the year 2000 was the last year that most people in this country

You Just Won The Lottery!
I'd definitely bring another financial adviser (or two) on board besides the one I've already got...I'd probably try to work out some kind of arrangement with an attorney's office to see if I could get them to front me the purchase money for my house (with security system) to be titled in the name of a blind trust prior to claiming the prize. After that, it would be time for new cell phones, phone numbers, email addresses and a makeover. I'm probably forgetting some details, but boy, what proble

GET OUT THE VIOLIN: Florida woman grieving about $5 million lottery win
Kudos, LottoMetro, for your astute sidenote. Ah, well, at least she's soon to be a rich liar and practiced, advanced strategy gambler. Plus, she could work full time, retire in four years, and reap even more monies from a higher Social Security monthly payout! Then she's keep winning the game of life and retirement!
