Details of lottery winner kin's death still sketchy
If the jackpot is not growing high the people will not have enough motion to buy or buy a lot ! Trust me!The more the odds lowed the more people like it! The more jackpot high the more people are crazy to buy tickets! I have seen one person bought thousand dollars of tickets when it get 200 million prize!I seldom buy ticket when it is just dropped from having the winner, it is kind of boring!Bottom line : Hopelessly, I still hope and hope someday I will be the winner of the huge jackpot, i lov

Today is the last day to play El Gordo
Thanks Todd,I appreciate it. Went to the site and it was very helpful. I think that the whole decima thing threw me off. The web site explained it. Good luck and I hope that you win tons. I like the odds of this game.

Compute this !
Win D,I'm getting ready for work. So I'll come back to this tonight. You are correct. Odds don't change but Probability does if using priors. That is the magic of using Bayesian Analysis.

Illinois man charged with stealing lottery tickets
Ya wot a dimbulb store clerk! I live in that very town. Usually they run your scratch card thru the machine and wait for the printout to see how much you won... I can't believe someone took his word for it and just handed him tickets... Illinois cards have mostly terrible overall odds too... All the $1 ones are like near 1 in 5!That's bad. -Curt Little Lotto King

Dude, you are welcome, and thanks!Saturday eve's 825 was a miss from these due groups. That should increase the odds just a bit that Sunday eve will see a hit....Going to update and repost these stats in a new thread. Be back in a few.

Lottery Players Convention
Feel free to post any legitimate suggestions on lowering the odds or improving your chances here on Lottery Post or rec.gambling.lottery I doubt anything really useful that hasn't been thought of already would be given out at a seminar unless you had to pay extra and then what seems like fantastic info to the people on either side of you might seem pretty basic after hanging around here. NY Lotto v FL Lotto
Quote: Originally posted by CASH Only on December 18, 2004Todd:Now we have to spread the word that NY Lotto 6/59 should be avoided, even with the cash option!I guess so, although right now I would advise everyone to snatch up NY Lotto tickets, with a great $38 million jackpot and good odds.

Powerball Expansion.
Quote: Originally posted by DoctorEw220 on November 4, 2004 that's the fundamental problem with that game. residents from englend should just cross the channel and go to france so they have a chance at winning a bigger prize with the same odds.Unless you're 16 or 17. In France it's 18, but in the UK it's 16 (maybe the lowest in the world). Interesting fact, the drinking age is the exact opposite. In the UK it's 18, and in France it's 16.

FYI, the odds of having all 5 drawn numbers within your allotted 10 numbers are 1:11,388. Once you manage that, you've got a 1:252 chance of winning $100,000 on any given line.
