The winning NY lotto ticket last nite was sold at the same place a take five winner was chosen, what are the odds of that??? Glen Head long island, a real rich area. Like they need it! Too bad NY really screws the owners who sell the tickets.

I actually drive from IL to Mich whenever its at 5 million. Have hit four out of six a couple of times and that has paid close to a thousand a pop. When your odds are about a thosand to one to hit four out of six and the payout is close to that, that is the only lottery you should play. That and when the ILL LL is more than 575k.

for the pick 3 and pick 4 games, the prize is always half the odds. if you play a number for $1 straight, you will win $5000 instead of $10000. it's so if you play all of the combinations, you will not break even.
