I managed to reduce the list to 29 numbers, if all seven numbers(or 6 core numbers) are in the improved list my odds would improve by 2900% or 1:475,020. I'll be using some adjusted parameters (filters) to pick more combinations to play this week end.RJOh

Buying more tickets = reduced odds
Colin,Of course you're correct. I'm sure someone will post some irrelevant remarks about how those odds are still pretty terrible or something. Hopefully they can show some restraint.

Tonight's winning numbers were :15-35-41-42-43-46 +16I played a list of 36 numbers:01 02 03 04 05 06 08 09 10 11 14 15 16 17 20 21 22 23 24 26 27 28 29 30 32 35 36 37 41 42 43 44 45 46 47 49which lowered my odds of hitting the winner to 1:1,947,792 (a 700% improvement) with all seven winning numbers in the group and I still didn't win anything.Using the same parameters, the list for the next drawing would be 32 numbers so maybe I will have to find some new parameters that reduces the list even

NY Lotto inching closer to all-time high
states make the odds to win their lotto jackpots so high to create huge strings of drawings without a jackpot winner, and when the jackpot gets high, more people will play, which will cause an even bigger rollover, which will generate more sales, and the chain will continue until some lucky stiff (or stiffs) wins (or win) it.

NY Lotto inching closer to all-time high
The NY pick 6 lotto is pathetic, and most NYer's would agree with me. The odds are horrible, the rollovers are horrible, but the thing that really gets me is the lower tier prizes, they are just downright insulting. Every time I see a commercial or hear an advertisement for the NY pick 6 lotto I just cringe. Sorry for being so negative, but I feel like we Nyer's deserve better.

Is all this lottery research worth it?
goldeneye26,I've gambled on most everything at one time or another in my life. I've played the greyhounds in Florida, thoroughbreds all over the midwest, national lotteries in the Caribbean, state lotteries in this country, and most casino games in Reno, Vegas, and on the riverboats. I'll grant you that some of my greatest successes have come out of dumb luck, but those kinds of hits have also been rather infrequent. I've found that my more modest but steady gains have come through study, strate
