Changes to ’Hot Lotto’?
New Hampshire sales are down. Since North Dakota and DC are joining, Hot Lotto is not going away.IMO the game, if changed, would feature longer jackpot odds, perhaps to get more states in.

The only reasion i asked is because a 5 megaplier hit by a couple hundred people with 5 white balls could run into some big payouts. It could even be more money payed out to people than the jackpot was worth if even more people were to hit. I know the odds of it happening are against this happening but you never now. A set of numbers could hit that many people played. It would almost force them to split the jackpot up into smaller peices to pay everybody.

Sandy you seem to be the researcher. If you research this info you will see how often these numbers show up in the state lottery. They repeat over and over again. Now you might not hit all the time but I bet the odds would get better.Alice

Any RNG will print out a winner if you run it long enough. The trick is to do it within an affordable amount of numbers and the odds of that happening is no better than any other way of picking you numbers. Cheatah in the pass has post over 300 lines for a lottery and the results were no better than any other post.RJOh

I spent $9 and didn't win anything and I didn't take a stupid pill, I just didn't have any winning combinations. The odds were 1:135M that I would win the jackpot and 1:43 that I would win anything at all. Chances were I was going to lose, that why it called gambling and somebody got to lose to create those large jackpot amounts.RJOh

Hey friends:Although I am no expert at Pick-3, I thought I would just pitch in with some raw idea which can be later refined by discussions and workouts: What if we converted all the winning numbers into their SMALLEST, BASIC box numbers FIRST. This method could provide a clue to positional digits that are most due or most likely to hit and reducing the odds. How about trying in this direction?!Best of luck!
