Mega Millions and Powerball Race
The Mega Millions jackpot was won and is at its starting point of $50 million. There was only an estimated 1.4% chance the jackpot would be won. The jackpot was underfunded from sales by approximately $34 million. With two wins of the jackpot is a very short period of time, the game is significantly falling behind the Powerball game. Will it ever catch up?

The Florida Millionaire Raffle is back!
Not even a scratch off? I've bought multiple raffle tickets the last time but I'm one and done on this one. There are only 10 winners if 1,000,000 and less are sold and 20 winners if all 2 million raffles are sold. I know last time I don't even think they reach a million in sales but it'll be interesting to see how this one does given our current state of affairs.

Mega Millions and Powerball Race
I looked at the recent 1 year treasury rates. Rates haven't increase that much in 2026. 37 million is a considerable rollover amount. I think sales are stronger for mega millions because of the difference in jackpot size from Powerball. If i am missing something let me know.

Florida's Fantasy 5
I don't know if anyone has seen this or not but FWIW - My FF5 tickets have the following printed on the bottom of them, Through March 31, 2026, Fantasy 5 will feature a minimum of $100,000 top prize on every draw! So I took a look at the Top Prize Winners and Retailers Report. Since March 1st, there have been two Midday drawings (March 2nd and March 3rd) where the top prize was split between two winners, each receiving $50,000. There has been one Evening drawing (March 1st) where one wi

Arizona lottery retailer employee sued after buying $12.8 million ticket knowing it was a winner
After reading a couple of other news articles, am I understanding this correctly? The Circle K corporate office vs a single owned Circle K store filed the lawsuit. And the individual store manager who claimed the ticket is not the owner or lessee of the individual store? Who owns or leases this individual store? And the lottery system computer inventory is separate from the store sales inventory?

It looks as if the $5.00 MM ticket is doing poorly.
From what I gather. Sales are lower. But they are making more money. Do to the price increase.

They had done the same thing in Hawaii to the point that a few of their byers were said to have increased your property taxes if they drove on your street. So, Trump put a rule on his properties NO SALES TO JAPANESE REAL ESTATE BUYERS. Oh yeah, a real crummy businessman.

If anyone has hit $100 or more where do you cash the tix
if a one store can't or won't pay out the prize, just go to a different one. the ones that do a lot of lottery sales should keep more cash on hand for that, like a big chain grocery store. small gas station is kind of iffy.
