I don't look at the worksheets enough to notice usually but they increased the annuity and the estimated sales but the cash is still listed the same as before at $498. Any idea why? I don't think it's because of the third drawing in a week. People tend to buy lottery tickets on a per-week basis, not a per-drawing basis. I suspect that many people who were buying multiple tickets for the Wednesday and Saturday drawings stuck with the same weekly expenditure or maybe added one more ticket. I therefore don't think it's worth it to compare a three game draw and a two game draw, I don't feel that's it's really comparing apples to apples. IMHO the sensible comparison is by the week. When PB added the 3rd draw the sales for Wednesday and Saturday drawings went down a little bit, but by adding Monday sales they got a modest increase in weekly sales.
