do you know the difference?
Yes I believe the machines are programmed. With all the states in Powerball you would think it would be hit everytime. People playing it has to be over the odds of winnig,

Quote: Originally posted by lottoking on December 01, 2003 ok.but I am afraid that I may fail this time Lottoking,Neither of your predictions came completely true. You didn't completely fail and you didn't win any big money. The winning numbers were 13-14-27-32-38 +29Had the numbers you posted been playing without the extra numbers(which couldn't be played anyway), you would have matched 14 and 27(matched 2) nine times. Not too good for $45 spent. The odds of matching 2 is 1:10 and you did bet

Welcome Ya'll...
dvdiva,Any changes will probably make the game even harder to win, so the jackpot will grow higher. PowerBall seems to be doing fine and it has better odds. I hope they don't change it.RJOh

Lotto Sycnh just hit my Hockey for tonigh
Hello Vick, you have some very positive results and inventive ways of utilizing this sw. I wonder if you have tried it on a computer generated type of lotto?. I understand from Guru the program has only been tested on ball/drum setup so far. I think the CN49 and Super7 use a drum but most if not all of the provincial lottos are computerized draws. That's an area of interest to me since the cost/ticket is 1/2 with odds being the same as you prob now. Cheers

If ya know just one number!...chart
Thanks alot Win D, but can you tell me this answer? If I know 1 number in the pick 4 lotto, how many different sets of numbers would I have to play to include all the possible combinations? Boxed and straight? I tried to figure it out but cant, I know the odds are supposed to be 1 in 411 in matching it boxed, and 1 in 1000 in matching it strait. Thanks big time! Joy2

Numeric frequency theories do not apply
You're absolutery right. I'm a mathematicial and frequencies are the easiest to use but they don't offer any better odds than playing random numbers! We should look for patterns, unusual behaviour of each number or anything else except frequencies!
