The Ultimate Cash vs. Annuity Poll
Some players reduce those odds by buying more than one ticket. For example the guy in West Virginia that won the Powerball last Christmas bought 100 tickets and the guy in North Carolina that won Megamillions bought 60 tickets. Some people just don't like a level playing field, they will do anything to get an edge, even use software to pick their own numbers.RJOh

Do lottery systems really work?
With Megamillions possible 135,145,920 combinations, if you eliminate 131,983,614 losing combinations, you will be left with (3,162,306) winning combinations, 1,533,939 of them worth $2. That a lot to ask of any system. Even if the system eliminates 100,000,000 losing combinations and improve your odds to 1:35,145,920 you still have 31,983,614 losing combinations you can chose. Good luck with your system what ever you use.RJOh

win Win WIN The Lotto Texas Jackpot $4M
Message to Eddie:You got one number right 39 which was better than I did.Message to Todd:I can see both sides of the PB/MM issue. If we take MM, then we can draw people from Eastern NM and Western Oklahoma. We can always drive to San Jon to play Powerball which becomes a community dvent here in Amarillo when the stakes are high. It really doesn't matter which one we choose, the odds are still astronomical.Orangeman

MUSL Hot Lotto
CASH,I doubt Texas would join Hot Lotto even if they joined MUSL. Two Step has better odds, a jackpot prize that often grows close to the low end Hot Lotto prizes, and the low tier prizes pay better as well.

Ga Mid and Eve Draw
Pay attention,The midday and evening draw have had 5 odds sums in a row. I know at least one even sum will fall for each draw before the week is over. What is everyones guess on what number. Sum 12 is hot. Sum 4,14,24 is the most overdue. Maybe a even triple

Caribsports and taxes
Hey,Fujita and CplusThere are know taxes taken out. You have to place a bet for 5 consecutive days straight to get that 700 to 1 odds. However you fund your account is how the money will be return unless you ask for a check. I use a prepaid atm card. You get the money the same day. Cplus, the numbers I play are falling in VA, DC AND MARYLAND. I will be doing the same thing.

PA Super-6...when will it end?
CASH,I thought that article was funny, especially the part where the one person was saying they still buy Super 6 cause the odds are better. While that is true, the chances of them winning Super 6 are about nil, so they would be better off playing PB and taking home some of the great lower-tier payoffs.

If you know at least one number!
WinDGood idea! I modified Steve's system into a two key number system that allows you to pick two numbers out of 10. If one, either or both numbers come up, you win. I have even taken care of the doubles issue. The only problem is that it takes a large number of tickets to play this system. You end up making only a 25% profit, but your odds are fantastic. Do lottery systems really work?
Well so far you have proven what I have been saying all along that selecting your own numbers using a number strategy or system can increase your chances in Lottery games and depending on your Skill level they can do a lot better than Quick-Picks.Even if you don't obtain the amount of money won or more like you did with the $100 won by a quick-pick doesn't disprove systems or strategies or whether they are a better choice for playing Lottery games.I've never said they were better just that they
