State vs Powerball vs Mega
I play all three depending on their jackpot size and my budget. Right now, Ohio Classic Lottery has a $22.7M jackpot with odds of winning it of 1:14M so I play it on Monday and PowerBall has a $155.0M jackpot with odds of 1:195M of winning it so I play it on Wednesday and Saturday. When MegaMillions jackpot goes over $100.0M, I may switch it with one of the others, most likely OCL because the odds of winning something are better with PB and MM.

Why Do We Play The Jackpot Games Even Though 99.99999% Of The Time We Lose?
If you don't play, your odds of winning are zero. Buying one ticket makes your odds higher, you might say infinitely higher. Each ticket after that makes a smaller difference, but it's the first ticket that changes your odds from impossible to nearly impossible. Each ticket after that changes your odds to a tiny bit less nearly impossible. I picked my game, Mega Millions. I get one ticket for each draw. When a jackpot is very high, I'll get two extra lines, one extra line of my numbers and o

Small Jackpots vs Big Jackpots
I like big jackpots like anyone else, but lately I been playing games with smaller jackpots and odds. In Massachusetts we have Megabucks Doubler and Cash Winfall and i've been playing those more recently. Megabucks is at $3,000,000 right now with 1 in 14 million odds. I'd take the annuity which is for 20 years. Cash Winfall is at $1,175,000 with odds of 1 in 9 million and the payout is cash. I'd be eating real good with winning any of those.

California Fantasy 5 Best way to improve odds?
Is there any particular way to increase odds by a mix of different types of tickets? Ie, x amount of quick picks, x amount of randomly generated #s and x amount of manual? During high jackpot backlogs, how many tickets should one play?

How would you design a game so more people win?
well choice is always best, maybe i just like to throw ideas around see what sticks. maybe there could be an option, and players get to pick a box when they play [] i want to share [] i want it all. maybe there could be 2 different games in the same draw, both contributing to the same pot, but offering different odds of wining. and a much greater likelyhood of sharing a massive jackpot prise if you take the lower option asnd a much greater chance of wining it all if you take the

another way to run big lotto jackpot
Would you play a game that was made extra hard to win to to get a large jackpot if you knew the odds of winning it would be better once the jackpot reached a certain amount? Not me, I would wait until the jackpot got large and the odds were better to play. Let the suckers contribute to the jackpot and I would have more to spend when the odds of winning were better.
