My beef with the PA 6/69 game is this:a- Delaware has a 6/38 game!b- New Jersey has a 6/49 game!Obviously, the odds of the above two games are much better than those of the 6/69. 69 numbers is TOO MUCH of a number field. I play the NJ/49 game since I live on the PA/NJ border and my cousin who lives in Delaware plays the 6/38 for us.c- The lower level prizes are a joke.

Lotto TEXAS
Brad, SMD: You both need to think about this. You NEED a large population base, as well as impossible jackpot odds, to create incredible jackpots. Remember that the LARGER the population base, the LARGER the rollovers, which more than offset the higher the probability of a jackpot winner.

Lotto TEXAS
If Texas or any other state joins Mega Millions, they will NEVER and I mean NEVER, reach a $200 Million jackpot. It's really funny that the game has been around for about 7 or 8 months now and the closest they have come to the promised $300-500 Million jackpots is $165 Million.I've been surprised how often Mega Millions seems to be hit, considering the odds.

Do lottery systems really work?
Does anyone have a winning story to share? Everybody here claims to play the lotteries, so with odds of losing being real high, there got to be at least one winner among us. So lets hear from some winners.RJOh

WINFALL in trouble?
WinFall is just getting back to reality. How long did you really think a lottery could pay ~$50 on a bet with odds of 1:53 and make money? The extra money from the old game is gone and now the new game has to stand on its own. I hope it is succesful, because it will change the concept of the state lottery games from having big jackpots to attract players to having better payouts at the lower prize level to attract players and leave the big jackpots to the multistate games.RJOh

PA Super-6
TG: Super-6 is the only jackpot game with AUTOMATIC quick-picks (three games for $1; however, you can select the numbers in only one-third of your plays). The 1 in ~40 million jackpot odds make little sense with PA now selling Powerball. NY Lotto 59 has the WORST prize return of any US lottery game (40%).

Do lottery systems really work?
Excuse me I have 3 programs that are capable of increasing your odds of winning, and I've decided not too use the term PREDICTING because these programs aren't PSYCHIC they use Number Analysis techniques developed by the programmers. These 3 programs are Lotto-Cheetah,WinHunter and Your-Lucky-Numbers 2001.

Do lottery systems really work?
The systems I am refering to is the software that claims to be able to increase your odds of winning by predicting numbers. I agree that everything has a pattern. If you throw a handful of BB's on the floor it will form a pattern. But there is no way to predict what that pattern will be before you throw them.

PA Super-6
PA Super-6 has been around since 1998. Three plays for $1; however, you CANNOT choose all your numbers; two of each three sets of numbers are _automatically_ quick-picked. Jackpot odds 1 in ~40 million per dollar. PA joined Powerball June 2002. New governor; new lottery chief. Just added midday drawings.
