Maryland players...
No offense taken. I just like the odds in the Maryland Lotto, and the fact that I get two plays for a buck. I stopped playing the Lotto for about 7 or 8 years, my guess, and returned when The Big Game lured me with its jumbo jackpots.

Maryland players...
It probably had good odds of winning. It's easier to go from picking 6 numbers to 5, than to go from 6 to 7.

Hello My Fellow Lotto Players
Luckily only people who actually win the lottery will have to make that decision and with odds of 1:13 to135 millions most, if not all of us will never be so unlucky. That the upside of buying lottery tickets and never winning the jackpot.RJOh

WINFALL news
ok maybe 200 is kind high for 1 in 50 something odds for matching three but maybe around 50 which is about 10 times. Maybe more. They should sell a lot of tickets for the first couple drawings until we find out that we still buy losers. haha But something more than 10 times would be nice to have for the first drawings.

Powerball, all even numbers
It must be remembered that in lotto games where the lowest number (in Powerball-type games, both number sets) is 1 , odd numbers are slightly more likely to come out than even numbers. However, the chance of all odds vs all evens is noticeably higher.

Instant games!
I suppose. Instant games are for those sudden itches to gamble. All the draw games like pick 3 and 4 are fun because they do have better odds of winning a sizable prize . But i did win $100 once on an instant ticket. That was fun! haha Brad

Remember Powerball's New Rules?
CASH,I agree with your assessment. Although I wounder if MUSL should really be limiting someone from winning too much . The whole reason MM and PB changed their odds was to have super huge jackpots. If one person like Jack Whittiker (sp?) is the only one to hit then so be it.Don't get me wrong though, I do like the idea of the Match 5 Bonus, I just think the cap should be a bit higher and that the jackpot doesn't need to break a record for it to be in play.

Pick 3 Fri. 1/10
Great Casho! Thanks! I can hardly wait! Will shoot for $250 next time. Maybe I can improve my odds with the sheet, or at least I can try to improve my playing strategies and my poor number-picking skills.

NY subscription winner a LOSER
I am curious, what do you calculate the differenceis in the annuity vs. lump sum? I assume you can investit and make more than the annuity, but are thereare any case studies on the subject about what lump sumwinners have actually made or lost I can read about? Personally, I think most people would be so glad tobeat the awful odds that they wouldn't get too upsetif they did have to take the annuity - I'm sure itwouldn't bother me.
