Yes. But once Mega Millions hits $80m+ it'll be much wiser to play it than Michigan Millions. Sure the odds are worse, but 1:18million is pretty bad as well. Lotto playing, to me, isn't the same as gambling in a casino (blackjack, craps, etc) it's just playing for the improbably chance that I'll hit the jackpot and get an extremely large sum of money.

Today on some radio show in NYC, I think it was WABC. They were discussing the Mega-Millions coming to NY. And they said that the lottery is a scam. The odds are so great! And the money doesn't really benefit education. They try to use education to show people that the lottery is good. But, no! The lottery sucks up all your money, 99.9% of all players are LOSERS!

I am pretty sure by the end of this year that Mega Mil will reach a Billion bucks. They said that the average payout would be $80 mil. But I feel that they have shot themselves in the foot. In my opinion the average payout is going to be over $100 mil, with the jackpot reaching $500 million plus every few months. The odds are just so great now......THE ROCK WILL WIN THE $666 Million jackpot on July 2.

MegaMillions starts Tuesday 5/14. And currently it's at 19 mil. And now the odds of winning have nearly doubled. So, 500 mil is very likely to occur soon, maybe by late June. Even a billion isn't out of the question.

NJ Pick-6 reaches $31 million!
A few more non-winning drawings and it will break the record of $46 million won last year by the Passiac couple. Currently I think it's either the highest or second highest current jackpot in the U.S. of A. So, come on to NJ, and play! I didn't know you could get the clerk to tear apart a ticket roll to get to a special ticket, I thought you had to take the next tickets on the roll. The tickets have odds printed on them of 1:4 to 1:6, but I don't know if that means 1 out four tickets is a winner or that the payout is $1 for every $4 spend. Ohio is giving a free QuickPick for every $5+ Buckeye5 that is bought during the month of May. Michigan did a similar thing for their Million$ game. It a good way to give the players better odds without changing the game.RJOh
