Illinois Lottery to add Powerball online ticket sales
I don't understand why this is necessary. What is so difficult about walking into your local fuel stop and buying a ticket or two? All this online crap will only cost the lottery more to operate, maintain, and have addtional security costs. Dumb.

Can a non-profit Org. cash a JP ticket and NOT pay taxes?
The way I see it they are going to spend a couple of TRILLION this year whether they have it or not so what do they need my measly $40 million for??? Besides $40 million will pay for a lot of accountants and lawyers even if I was just avoiding taxes but that wont be the case as it is easy to do what is required to be a legit charity and still go to the resort, besides you don't need 66.8 million in the bank to go hang out at a resort. lol. I can do that right now without having any extra money l

Michigan couple killed after lottery win
From another article: Tierra Evans denies her parents were involved in the sale of any drugs. And she says her father received social security checks but did well enough in the lottery to be able to afford nice things for the family. Right. The cops have it completely wrong. That money he was using to buy all those nice things wasn't profit from dealing drugs. He just happened to win far more than probability suggests.

Few major lottery jackpot winners get chance to be anonymous
Legal entities like a Blind Trust must show as a minimum: the name, city, county, and state of residence of each individual Trust member(s). By implication the Blind Trust is perceived as other-than blind. Any other personal information beyond the minimum required, that is included in the instrument at the time of filing with the Public Office, may be transmitted to whoever makes a FOIA request for the records. Arkansas woman loses bid for $1M lottery ticket picked from trash
Hughes found that the evidence weighed in Duncan's favor that she bought the winning ticket, even though lottery records and store security video didn't synch up to the precise timing of the purchase. Duncan only proved she bought a ticket and apparently a losing ticket. Will the judge award the money to someone else if their timing synchs up better with the purchase? Arkansas Lottery Security Chief Lance Huey testified that he investigated the circumstances of the ticket falling into J

Woman arrested for trying to fake jackpot winning lottery ticket
The terminals at horse racing tracks are suppose to shut down when the race starts, but one day at Thistledown they stayed open until after the race was over. Some of the Tellers noticed it and made lots of bets; they were caught, fired, and charges were filed. Saw a women get caught past-posting on a Roulette table and she was escorted away by security. Bet lots of scammers thought about trying past-posting when the lottery began selling tickets online. But only the dumbest would try it with

Winning Technique...stop thinking about winning.
I am very grateful for everything I have. A steady job for the last 21 years. A great marriage, great kids. That doesn't mean a little extra financial security won't be greatly appreciated. I enjoy chasing the numbers. I know I could put more time into it than I do daily, but some days (usually Sundays) I spend several hours with the numbers. I'm grateful for the time to do it.
