TN Pick 5 ending; New game to replace it
I have noticed since Tennessee started computer drawings... the odds for instant tickets have shot up. For example, look at a $10 ticket. In late 2004 they introduced the first $10 instant ticket Holiday Treasures with odds of 1:2.3. Now, some $10 tickets have odds of 1:3.63. Considering these are OVERALL odds with millions of tickets printed... there are far more losers (more revenue). I guess Tennessee had to compensate somewhere and of course they hit the bread and butter of the Tennessee Lot

Man wins Fla. Lottery jackpot for 7th time
He just spends a lot of money. The odds are the odds. I bet he examines the ball distribution and picks the ones that hit the most. The only way this swings the odds is if this distribution stays stable or if the game is off, or both. People will argue but I do understand mathematics and have a background in science and math.

Best Florida Scratch Offs
I promote the $20 Gold Rush OFTEN! Mainly because I have won $500 twice on that game. The odds of winning $500 are around 1:176 where as other $20 tickets set $500 odds at 1:500ish. You also have a 1:15 shot of winning either $50 or $100. Overall odds are 1:2.95 (better than any $20 ticket in TN) As for the other games... The overall odds are roughly the same as Tennessee. Good luck and have a great vacation!

Take5 = rip-off
Win4 has 1:10k odds for $5k. But Take5 has 1:575k for $57k. It's always split, so each gets $26k. Not fair as $50,000 should be odds of 1:100,000. Rarely, prize is rolled over. Same with Pick10. $500k should be 1:1m, but it's 1:9m. However, SweetMillion is $1m - 1:4m. Better to play Lotto or MegaMillions as 2nd prize odds are same. Also, divide Pick10 odds by 1/2, you get 5-40-10, same odds as 10-80-20, but prize is 10x of Take5.

Statistically Speaking - QP's and PP's
I don't know what you would call working really well but if a system improved a player odds of winning by 200% or better, probably only that player would ever know. Odds of winning a pick3 game going from 1:1000 to 1:500 wouldn't impress most other players. Same way with odds of winning a PB jackpot going from 1:195M to 1:100M or its overall odds of winning a prize going from 1:35 to 1:20. For the average player winning a $3-$7 prize for every 20 PB lines played isn't worth bragging about
