Wow Texas got 3343 straight on 7/14/10 Midday and now Texas got 3343 Straight on 7/17/10 Midday again. I wonder what are the odds of that happening the same number hitting in exact order for the Midday Drawing only 3 days apart in the Pick 4? Must be pretty high odds since there are 10,000 possible straight numebrs to choose from in Pick 4 the odds of ANY number hitting straight are 1 in 10,000.

To really answer that question, you'll have to look at the individual prize ODDs for each game on your state's website. Most states will publish all of the prizes available on an individual game and the specific odds for that prize. You'll probably have to do a lot of navigating between each web page to get all the data you want, but in the end, you want to look for the TOP prize across each ticket and compare the individual odds for each top prize across all the games at the same price point.

I have never denied the fact that you get more chances by playing multiple tickets. But it is also a fact that you spend more money in the short run.By the way, based on my observations participating in pools is not such a bargain. If you bought every possible combination of a lottery your odds of winning it would be 1:1 which would also be you chances of winning it too. If you only bought one ticket or line, your odds of winning it would be 1: every possible combination. Most players settle for something affordable between those two extremes. Buying more combinations/lines not only increases your chances of winning but also change your odds of winning.
