Office Pool concept
I'm looking to create an office pool, and there's a lot of avid lottery players. But I'm torn on how we should create this pool. Is it better to have a higher buy-in amount but provide a better payout odds if one of the tickets win? Or, is it better to have a low buy-in amount, but the prizes will be split by 10,000 participants? (not sure if I would go that extreme, but definitely a possibility.) I would allow people to buy-in multiple times, but maybe there are some people who would only

The reality is that, out of any number between 00000-99999 could show up in the next draw. It would be cheating if they pull out some number that is outside this. penta, quads, triplets, doubles have different odds but positionally, any number/ball(-0-9) has same odds. Consideriing the Lottery Payout vs the Odds puts you at least at a 50% disadvantage to start. Call it the Pay Out Defecit . It also determines the number of Parts that you need to predict in order to make $$. One can Catalog every draw with 2 or more variables. The goal is Reduce the Inventory to the Point that you can include at least 3 out of 5 (in a 5 number Draw game) and make a minimum profit. I have observed that there is more emphasis on systems that are geared towards Pick 3 and 4. Is it because the odds are better? Are there systems for PB, MM or Lucky/Cash for Life?
