National Parapsychology Center
Well, for one, it's a scam operation. I found about this one a long time ago. It should be run by a lady (originally from Arkansas and possibly first convicted there for fraud) with a French-sounding alias (there have been several over the years) and a shady history who may or may not now reside in Montreal. For more on this use the search engine in your browser (Internet Explorer or Netscape) or Google (http://www.google.com) and do a search on national parapsychology center (lower case) to g

Probability of a rollover in PB and MM
Your calculations would be correct if 13 million tickets were sold. Actually the minimum $10,000,000 jackpots typically sell in the ten million range. You can look up sales in various places, and find them from time to time. I back calculate sales by dividing the number of winning tickets by the overall odds of winning. This (understandably) gives a high standard deviation, however if you do it long enough, you find that the mean converges on the correct (cash) value, roughly 32% of sales de

lottoman 1.38
Lotto-winner, I am not naive.I'm just smart enough to know when someone is trying to scam me. It is kinda like Ken Silver's program............when you gotta pay a commission to promote it, it just doesn't work. If it did work, you would have them lining up at the door and rake in all the dough yourself.Pick4Master is right. We do just fine by ourselves in here. If we wanted a syndicate, we would form one on this forum and it would be free of charge. We look after one another. I'm surprised

Lottery Loser's Shady Past
I think it is sad that Ms. Dickson or is it Ms. Battle or is it Ms. Dickson can not make a decision on who she wants to be in life. She has a criminal past which reflects badly on her because she is trying to pursue legal action against the real winner. Who has proved that she is the winner with ticket reciepts that include a winning ticket and previous losing tickets with the same numbers played. Give up Ms. whoever you are ? Filing a false police report is a crime just as the scam she is t

OH-NO!" Woman claims $162 million Mega Millions ticket lost
Dunno. Got enough smarts and money to hire a lawyer and enough public interest to have a press conference to try to elicit sympathy. And it's easy enough to recite the winning numbers after the drawing. Now what's going to happen when the real winner emerges, after s/he has taken the time to confer with their lawyers and financial advisors? Can you spell scam ? Just the cynic in me, I guess.BTW, if not claimed in 6 months the money is returned to the states participating in the draw.

Guaranteed-lotto.com?? Anyone try it?
Has anyone seen the website: http://www.guaranteed-lotto.comReally unique system, with no losers. I don't know exactly how they do it but they refund all ticket purchases after a winner is declared. My buddy has been playing it for the past week or so, and seems really great. They aren't a scam, since he has been refunded. Anyone else try this??They only accept e-gold as a form of payment, so I dont know what this would mean.Let me know if anyone has info on this. I think they have their o

Lottery Players: Win up to $250,000
There has been alot of lottery scam going on. People are getting letters in the mail they won the lottery and to send money so you can get your money. Also I read where foreigns where outside a Wal-Mart and stopped a 76 year old man and said they where on the phone with thier lawyer about their winnings. They could not cash the ticket because they are not a citizen so could he go to the bank and get them part of the money and he could have the winning ticket and claim it. The 76 year old man w

EZ pick 3 Update
Thank you Forum for the info. Tomorrow I will contact paypal about this order and I will also send an e-mail, I hope it is not a scam, I've ordered alot of systems on-line and this has never happened to me before so I am now doubtful of this company. Usually if you order something and pay thru pay pal you recieve an acknowledgement immediately. It's not the money, but we can't let them get rich off pick 3 players, the $29.95 is a day of play for me.I'll let you know as soon as I hear anything, T
