Honestly though, looking at all the odds...I'd even go as far as to say the $20 Flamingo is a better ticket to play than LFL. There are way more prizes out there for the Flamingo ticket, and with how old LFL is...I just don't feel confident about those remaining prizes being found with how old LFL is. The chances of hitting $100-$1,000 is better on LFL, but the chances of hitting big prizes on the $20 Flamingo seems to be better. I'd say the $25 Fortune ticket has much better odds of a big h

I don't know. I have yet to decide when to jump in. Since the matrix changed and the odds skyrocketed I just have not been that excited about PB. Interesting read. Can any of you math wizzards help me find out what my odds would be if I eliminated 5 out of 26 Powerballs or 10 out of 69 field numbers? This we understand. Is there a general formula so I can plug in the numbers on different size games to see how my odds will increase/decrease? Does 'different size game' mean different sets to eliminate, like eliminate 10 out of 26 Powerballs instead of 5 out of 26 Powerballs, as an example? Oh, I am using p

Sure thing, at this point in time I believe the lottery to be random. At least that the attempt is that it is random. The lottery makes a huge profit with it being random, so not so sure about an incentive to make it not random intentionally. But you are wrong, I do not have a closed position on randomness. Saw an ad at the store for the next batch of new tickets coming out in a couple weeks. $10 ticket called Color Me Rich-Basic number match, we'll see if it has good odds. $3 Frogger- I like these different type of games. Probably won't have amazing odds, but I'll definitely try it a little. $5 Cash Wheel- Usually $3 tickets get the crossword/grid type of games, so thats cool.
