Keys to become a millionaire
For the regular lottery player, over 99% being luck with a fraction of a percent being game selection, numbers selection, and wager type / amount.
Back in the early days of lotteries, some attempted to play a very large percentage of combinations in games that featured jackpots well in excess of the odds. Ie. a $1 game with 1 in 1 million odds with a $5 million jackpot. Needless to say, lotteries most everywhere now require playslips to be filled out by hand.
Extended play games, such as B

Matrix change will not make Powerball jackpots larger.
... And the powers that be just simply can't get past their GREED factor! I used to play 20 tickets a draw years ago because I actually thought the increase in odds warranted the extra tickets. However, this has decreased with each matrix change, and now with this most recent change I plan to play just one ticket per draw, just to be in it. However, no actual thoughts of winning surface, which is the real reason to play in the first place. No hope to win, no real reason to play.
To put it in

Matrix change will not make Powerball jackpots larger.
Holy poo!! This is ludicrous. Assuming no number is duplicated, 9999999999999 * 9999999999998 * 9999999999997 * 9999999999996 * 9999999999995 * 999999 = 9.999x10^70.
I relate the odds of winning a jackpot game to being able to stand on the correct 1 sq ft tile in a room. The size of the room is just a little bit bigger or smaller than the following:
MM 3 miles square PB 2.5 miles square PB 3.25 miles square (new matrix)
Your numbers! Just wow! What a ridiculous notion! You wouldn't ne

Neural Net Lottery Picker
Guys
Just for your information. I've run some tests and here are the results. That is for 6/49 game.
The aim was simple: finding out what's the break-point where at least 50% of the sample has a 6 of 6 among the x-top ranking numbers.
To have a pretty reasonable sample size I skipped 10 games and went on a testing spree to get the answer. Many settings give the same results:
to have a 50/50 chance you need to play the pool of 43 top ranking numbers out of the total of 49. I'm afraid

Gail Howard's lottery winners
Given historically most jackpot winners are QPs I'd say yes they do.
Don't let the mathematical fact when more players purchase QPs, more jackpot winners will be QPs get in the way of a lame argument, right?
And I'll give you that if you can scrape up hundreds of thousands to buy a ton of combos your odds go up a little.
The odds of winning are exactly the same for one person purchasing hundreds of thousands worth of tickets as a group of strangers collectively purchasing the same a

Take5 NY
Guys,
I gotta tell you something. If I lived closer to the Massachusetts border than I currently do, I would NOT be playing Take5 any longer. Today I became aware of Mass Cash , a 5/35 game. Massachusetts draws it every night at 10 PM, and if you have all 5 numbers, you win $100,000. And if there are multiple 5/5 winners, EVERYBODY with the five winning numbers gets $100,000. A woman won $200,000 TWICE ($400,000 in total) last May because she had two tickets with the same set of five numbers

Hi REDSTANG !!
If you notice this thread doesn't have many wins/photos posts anymore as it did from guys like JAMES1 - OLDSCHOOLHITS - LONERANGER and the rest of the old gang. You betcha I stopped playing almost 100% - when you see the odds for $500 on the new GR to be the almost the same as the just ended GRT game - and you bought as many GR's as you did GRT's and you don't get the same or close wins of $500 as I did with GRT - something is WRONG !
As an example - if I bought over a
