A question about lotto system odds
She might be lying, or she might just be wrong. It all depends on what the system is, but one thing is sure: you can't change the odds of a random game of chance.
Wheels are commonly suggested, so there's a good chance that is what she's talking about, but wheels are pure BS. The logical conclusion to wheeling would be to play a wheel that includes only as many numbers are drawn, because then you are guaranteed to win, but only if those numbers are drawn. Notice that it's a big if, because th

How good do you think you are at the lottery?
I'm good enough to beat the overall odds of winning a prize.
Overall odds of winning a prize playing Ohio Rolling Cash5 are 1:9 but matching 2 three times with $20 worth of tickets only gets me $3.
Overall odds of winning a prize playing Ohio Classic Lotto are 1:54 but matching 3 once with $30 worth of tickets only gets me $2.
Overall odds of winning a prize playing MegaMillions are 1:40 but matching 0+1, 1+1 or 2+1 with $25 worth of tickets only gets me $2, $3 or $10.
Even beatin

question ABOUT POWERBALL STYLE GAME
I was just saying what the odds are of it happening. Odds aren't precise as you know people who win the jackpots beat the odds.

How can I calculate odds?
That simply means there are 177,100 possible combinations and by playing a full 10 number wheel, you would have 210 of those combinations. Odds can be calculated by dividing the possible combos by the number of combos you play and those odds are 210:177,100 or 1:843.3. While it looks like you have greatly increased your odds of winning, you're actually playing only .1185% of all the combos.

How can I calculate odds?
If I'm playing the Cash 25 and I'm playing a wheel where I choose 10 numbers (instead of 6), how much does that increase my odds of winning?
The WV lottery site says that the odds of matching 6 are 1:177,100. But what if I choose 10 numbers and only have to match 6?

When you buy a lottery ticket do you prayer that you win the Jackpot?
The reason we see really big jackpots and extremely steep odds is that the lotteries pay attention to ticket sales. The increased revenues come from steep odds and big jackpots. It's possible that substantial numbers of regular players would prefer lower odds and more winners of smaller jackpots, but overall that isn't what puts the most money in the states' coffers. One drawing with a $100 million jackpot can bring in more than twice as much as a minimum jackpot, and $200 million can bring in 4

WE want a GREAVY train over HONEST people!ask PSYKO!!
this would be my answer...I feel people as americans shouldn't have to climb 200 million odds to be millionaires...They should have a lotto paying 1 million dolllars with 20,000 combinations/odds...You are an American you live in the land of the free you should have the right to have a freedom from want...I think that you as an American should have this right...It should be YOUR RIGHT....As an American you should have a right to have a lotto with 20,000 odds pay 1 million dollars...It should be

Only 109,999 chances I won't win a million? - Here's my $20! - Gimme a raffle ticket!
Actually, there are 329,997 chances you won't be a millionaire. Overall, out of 330,000 tickets there will be a total of 309 winners, making the overall odds of not losing your $20 1 in 1078.4. Compare that to a $1 ticket with odds of 1 in 21,568 to win your money back.
Right now TN lotto plus is advertising a jackpot of $3.9 million. They don't seem to post it in an obvious spot, but I'll assume it's an annuity, and call the cash value $2 million, or twice as much as the raffle. The odds of
