S.C. Lottery crowns 2 millionaires in raffle draw
I was on the site this morning. Saw they had the winning numbers posted.
Congrats to the winners!
I will be there next week -- wish they were still haveing the raffle.
I wonder why Tennessee never has one?
Has TN ever had a lottery raffle?

Ohio New Years Raffle
Good Luck! I'm buying a few for Idaho's raffle, but nowhere near the number you are. I might end up with 5 or 6. One every other week till they're sold out, and we usually sell out early.

New Lottery
That sounds a lot like Ohio's New Year Raffle. They are selling 500,000 tickets starting with number 000001 and ending with 500000 and on New Year Day 2011, they will pull numbers, not names, and award prizes to the holders of tickets with those numbers. Top prize is $1,000,000.

Are lottery numbers drawn randomly? If so what controls the balls.
a friend of mine works for one of the old accounting firms that used to supervise the lottery here in illinois - he said, yes it is truly random. the lottery balls are inspected on a daily basis, there are multiple sets, all the balls are checked for perfect weight and measure before each draw. if one ball is out of whack - the entire set is discarded.
the machines are also put through a quality test each time.
but yes, i still think its rigged...
nothing like that once or twice a year

Tickets on sale for Oregon Lottery's Thanksgiving Raffle
Yeah, I ambled on down there (SC) and got me a couple raffle tickets too. Forgot to get the Sourwood Honey when I went thru NC though, dagnab it. Took the dirt road over the mountains through Pisgah back into Tennessee. That was kinda fun. Gets a little hairy meeting somebody going the other way on that narrow road though.

N.C. Lottery's raffle makes 3 millionaires
Um, I don't think you did the math, there were about 600 smaller prizes. The state made very little if anything on this raffle since more than 200,000 tickets were unsold.

N.C. Lottery's raffle makes 3 millionaires
I hope Arkansas goes ahead and draws their raffle tickets. I work at a gas station on the weekends and the last one we sold on Sunday was around 140,000. I don't think they will be selling out anytime soon.

Michigan has tried raffles like that. In fact, Michigan has tried raffles of many different varieties. You can check out all the different types by visiting the Michigan Lottery Results page and scrolling to the Special Games section. All the raffle results are there.

N.C. Lottery's raffle makes 3 millionaires
If one of these states would try my suggestion just one time they would have a good lottery raffle...Just like the powerball or mega millions....I wont buy those either,I know I wont have a chance against all the other 100 million players playing these games...I know I wont win.If some state like Tennessee would have 1000 $10,000 wins I would jump on it.Sorry but it's my way to play fair...I guess I'm just a straight up person...
