Jersey jackpot Raffle January 21, 2009
I bought a $20 Jersey jackpot ticket today but noticed it reads
DRAW DATE JAN21 09 DRAW#4
Are they planning on having seperate draws? For example draw #1 would be for the (3) $2 Million dollar prizes, draw #2 for the (5) $100,000 prizes draw #3 for the (8) $25,000 etc.
I hope it is not drawn in tiers as Draw #4 would be in the $500 tier and I didn't buy this ticket for a chance at $500
Anyone know more about this?

Michigan Lottery celebrates 10th raffle drawing
My question is simply, having read about all these different raffles, does Maryland have a raffle and if so how do you play....?? I am impressed with reading about all these instant winners, who played these raffles ........I want to get in on this too.....;...)

haha. Smoker/Drinker vs Lotto winner(me)
My friend is a smoker and drinker and he spends hundreds on cigerettes and liquor. It's the same guy who says lottery is a joke and you're not going to win . well, he can kiss my butt because I won $500 on the Florida raffle while he's wasted his money and ruining his health

everyone wants a lump sum but
That was the cash pay-out. The rules on that instant game must have stated that the million dollars would be paid over a 20 year period. Otherwise, you'd be correct. If you had won $1M in the Raffle, you would have gotten the entire million, less tax. That's why it is important to read the rules on the back of the ticket or on the Florida site. Not all instant game tickets have cash payouts.

Dec./Jan. Raffle Games - All Posted
I'm glad that Idaho is participating in the holiday raffle again. I am playing, but I only bought one ticket this time. I decided that last year, I went overboard with buying tickets and I am trying to be a bit more responsible with playing.

207 Million over.
But if only 9 people win and they print a million tickets, that meansthat 999,991 people will not win the grand prize. That's less than99.9%.
And there you have it. It isn't how many people lose, it's the likelihood of winning or losing that matters. If there were a worldwide lottery where everybody had 1 ticket, you could have 3 billion losers, but everybody would have a 50% chance of being one of the winners. What matters more? A 50% chance of winning, or having 3 billion losers? It's the

Best Odds to win a Million dollar Lottery Raffel !
I bought one raffle ticket a little bit ago. Last year I bought seven (I never drop that much money on one game at once) and didn't win a dime. But this year, I decided not to make the same mistake like last time. I am only buying one. If I win something, cool. If I don't, I only be out the 10 bucks.

how many raffle tickets are you buying?
I bought one. I may buy another one, but I doubt it. I learned my lesson from last year. Last year, I bought 7 tickets and it cost me 70 bucks and I didn't win anything. (I never spend that much on the lottery at once.) I guess I got caught up in the excitement of Idaho finally getting a raffle. This year, I decided to do the sensible thing and only buy one ticket.
