Calif Fantasy 5 strategies
I don't think there is any manipulation going on JKING. The Ca lotto has a massive amount of security gooing on to make sure none of that ever happens. Gary

Office Pool Lotto Questions
The IRS cares about social security numbers. When the state writes the check it reports that amount to the IRS, one SSN per check. The person that receives THE check is responsible for the income tax on that amount. That's why the State of California will pay checks to each member of a pool rather than just the administrator .

What to do with $500,000?
If a person is 20 or 30, perhaps investing in a long-term financial growth plan would be wise, including putting some of their money investments in a diversified portfolio. Assuming the above age group will hopefully be employed until retirement, along with their salary increases (if they are still with the same company), and setting aside some money for savings/retirement, that age group should do just fine. However, steady, financial commitment toward growth will be important. People in

Collecting Big Winnings
Until you actually go to the Lottery office in your state and turn in a validated ticket .... they do not know who you are! They just know there is a winner. The IRS like wise does not know who the winner is or that you are the winner until you present the ticket and fill out paperwork giving your Social Security number. You are taxed on money you receive in a given year and that includes lottery wins. So it is a good idea - if you won a big jackpot this late in the year - to wait until after Ja

Pennsylvania Lottery declares 'foul' during Nov. 7 Cash 5 drawing
Absolutely right. They were able to detect the error because there was transparency. They would have never detected any flaw had it been an RNG, they would have assumed everything was on the up and up, even when it wasn't. What they call the security that comes with RNG, is really just blissful ignorance.

If the guy got a security tape with him purchasing the ticket, then shouldn't the footage on the tape be accompanied by the DATE and Time? I think they should pay out

N.Y. lottery winner and tenant fight thief
Unfortunately the old saying of winning is not going to change me or what I do is a problem to most jackpot winners...It may not change you, It may magnify your personality, but it will definitly change the people around you. Either get the security system with the camera, or get the hell out of the neighborhood, because unfortunately you just don't fit in anymore,,,,(might want to see if there is a door that has the capability to shoot out a couple of taser darts, and maybe some pepper spra

A NJ Senator claimed our $5mil winning ticket after we asked their help. Should we get it back?
Get your money back; all of it. The term bearer is not the same as owner . Of course, the owner of the ticket should sign it so that some other bearer of the ticket(as a result of the ticket being lost or stolen) does not claim the money themself and create a huge dilemma. However, you say it was already signed? If that was the case, I would not only be upset with the police that stole the ticket, but the NJL as well. A scratched out signature should have made them raise a red flag. Something is
