I bought one. I might buy another. Michigan's current raffle has 6 $1 million winners out of 600k tickets. $20 each. I bought one early and got the $2 discount. The drawing is just after the new year.

nice hearing from you Sandy!!!! Glad all is going well with you and yours !!! I happened to be on line when they posted the raffle numbers and called Mike to congratulate him ,then he asked me if I was the one who one..told him Yeah, right !!! The lady who won it did tell them tho !!!!!!! and I agree with you about the funkyness of the lottery....but it has been a matter of adjustment and have been hitting somewhat lately !! Take care !!!!!!!

Thanks Todd, just wish we;d get a winner. I only wish MI would leave out the $50 raffle and stick would a realistic $20 with more big winners - the math is there.

With part of my winnings I purchased one of those raffle tickets ( I never buy one unless I win on something ). the first 3 numbers were 166..the MSL is suppose to sell 250,000 of these and they are just above 166,000...wow they have a ways to go.

I have also noticed with the raffle tickets no one seems to win from my area so I stopped buying unless I can get to the suburbs. MI is the Jackpot Vampire in all of there games. Lottery is just the poor man taxes. I think that it was started by the dem party and once again the rep still get the better kickback. LOL

When a state has a raffle for several $1M prizes, they are putting out the money up front and gambling that they will recover their money and make a profit on ticket sales. I can't see any group ever putting up a $500M jackpot and gambling they will sell enough tickets to cover the prize and make a profit too.
