Tn RNG Drawing 077 multiple times.
I just looked at the news and they had a college professor compute the odds of having the number 077 hit. I couldn't belive that the odds for that number to hit 3 times in a row was 1 billion to 1. I was too through!! No player should have to try to overcome those odds..that is ridiculous! Of course, Rebbeca is defending her computers saying that they are certified . I just read the back of a ticket and there are NO odds. On the website, it says 1 in a thousand..they are sucking people dry and t

An Ethical Dilemma...
With astronomical odds, technically 4 extra dollars wouldnt benefit that much to your advantage.

50/50 filters
say if a choose a 50/50 filter first time i apply one the odds are 50% if i choose another 50/50 now overall odds become 0.5*0.5=0.25..if i apply a third one the odds become 0.5*0.5*0.5=0.125..(a fourth one gives 6.25% and so on by dividing in half each time)...basically its like guessing three coin flips in a row...its very risky since in P3 you're gambling $125 bucks to win $375 a profit ratio of 3:1 with a win ratio of 1:12.5...most people will not make bets like these..the limiting factor in

Any Recomendations
In my opinion, scratch-offs are a bad bet. Did you ever take the time to read the odds for each game that are listed on the back of the scratch-off tickets? They're ridiculous. If you buy one scratch-off here and there, as a lark, maybe, that's just a fun way to spend a buck if you want. But most scratch-offs have worse odds than Quick Picks on the Pick 3.
You can buy a qp for Pick 3, straight, and the odds are 1000 to 1 against you, but you are looking at a $500 win for a buck. Some of the s

Running an office Powerball pool is discouraging
50 tickets is certainly better than 1 ticket, but it still doesn't make a dent in the odds of winning. You're odds are still 1 in 2,922,159. Good luck though.
I'd have to check my stat book, but I don't think the odds are even that good. Every ticket has the same odds of hitting the jackpot. So it would be 50 in 146,107,962.

Probability related question
The chances that a given combination will hit over time equals 1 minus the odds that it will not hit. In the case of Powerball, with 2 drawings per week, the odds that a given combination will hit over the 45-year period I hypothesized in a previous message is roughly 1 in 3122. These are also the odds of winning over the same period with a new combination every draw.
Over 483 years (50,232 draws), the odds don't improve much: 1 in 2909.
For 50/50 odds, you'd need around 100 million draws
