The last time the jackpot was $80 million, it was under funded by $22.9 million. That shows the Mega Millions jackpot is growing slower than the last run. This is probably influenced by the much larger $216 million Powerball jackpot. The last time the Mega Millions jackpot was $80 million, the Powerball jackpot was only $30 million.
