Employee hacks into online poker site
If I read this story correctly, this fellow tried to tell his bosses that there was a flaw in the system and his bosses dismissed him as an idiot.Instead of thinking about prosecuting him, they should think about putting him in charge of security. He obviously did what he did to prove that there were holes in the security. He didn't keep the money.I don't think he was out steal from them.I think he was desperate to prove to his bosses that they were ripe to be ripped off!

PowerBall Jackpot Security Procedures
Hey guys. I was wondering if you could answer a question. When someone wins the PowerBall jackpot, they have to claim it at the lottery headquarters. I was wondering, what are the step by step procedures that the lottery officials take in the process of a person claiming the jackpot? What kind of paperwork do they have to fill out?

Would you loan money to someone to gamble
To borrow money in order to gamble is a sure sign of a gambling problem. To use a relative's Social Security money to gamble is also a sure sign of a gambling problem. People living on Social Security are living below the poverty level and to borrow money from them to gamble and lose is not cool.

Player confusion leads to early end for N.C. lottery game
These stupid security marks RUIN these games. If you scratch off 10% of a ticket and you see an x you know you lost, why bother scratching the rest of the ticket. They cant add better security features? Other way these state lotteries drop the ball by not using common sense.

Indiana lottery rigger faces 50-year penalty
Wow - I just watched a show on The Discovery Channel the other day - it said that no one from Scientific Games ever knows where a specific winning ticket (or prize value) is. I guess that wasn't true? I'm very surprised that this could happen - but not surprised that a lotttery security official was part of it. Lottery security departments, like everyone else, hire human beings. Where you have human beings and the means to commit crime, its going to happen.

Sign the petition - eliminate computerized drawings!
Todd, I support this thread and already signed the petition. However, my family and I never play any computerized drawings. In fact, the only games my family and I would play are Mega Millions and California Super Lotto Plus where I currently living [CA]. I like the ball security drawings instead of computerized security drawings is another factor. Lets eliminate computerized drawings!
