need some advice-antivirus
Lottomike, justxploring is absolutely right!!! I was hijacked about a year ago, and fumbled with trying to extricate a series of viruses and the perpetrator taunting me and threatening to take over my computer completely. So, I went to the microsoft site One care which at the time was free as justxploring says, and within 45 minutes Mr. Wang was assigned to me to walk me thru the steps using the Techie site Hijackthis!! Not only was I impressed with their response time, but the ease in clearin

Should one play if they have others feeding them
Another point to look at about receiving federal tax dollars. There are people who own parcels of land and they receive federal tax dollars to not plant various crops. Should we tell them they can not play the lottery. There are working families who do not receive monthly funded by the Gov,t but receive federal funds in different forms when they file taxes. Should we tell them they can not play the lottery. The list goes on. So what do we call the people who receive the above funds I

The Implications of Cracking the Code..
Stack47 - I am not a programmer so I cannot answer your question. However, what you propose would not allow for random generation of numbers. I am only peripherally aware of the Tennessee Lottery issue and I don't know the details, but feel certain I can get them. Without that detail I cannot speak to the Tennessee security issue. Let me see what I can find out.

The Implications of Cracking the Code..
I am very familiar with the Pennsylvania illegal drawing (no, I did not work for the PA Lottery). What they did could not be done today - too many checks and balances plus pre-draw procedures are video taped and independent auditors are present. RNG are in no way connected to the central system, it is prohibited. That would be a security breach and no lottery would allow it. So, they cannot search the wagered database.

Wanting Lots of Stuff
Once I stopped jumping up and down, I would form a trust for me and my future generations; to prevent any con artists from taking advantage of them, to protect their assests. I consider myself blessed since I have a decent education and career, but I'm in no means rich in material things or big savings am able to pay my bills, save a little, then wait for my next paycheck. A moderate home; large enough for the family, and a decent auto would be nice. I think I would just invest the rest and en

Lotto Movie: The price of Cracking Pick3..
Well, I don't think there is a code to break. I do believe a person can drastically improve their odds of winning though, even to the point it would be very profitable. If you have such a secret, then it's best to not tell ANYBODY. Even the most closest of family and friends will turn their back on you and reveal it to EVERYBODY. They'll tell 1 or 2 people(doing the whole It's a secret, don't tell anyone and don't tell anyone I told you thing), those people will tell 10 or 20 people, and wit

dream: numbers on atm machine
my dream was i was on highway heading towards Nevada...stopped at a local gas station truck stop with many stores. One huge atm like machine where you can play your lottery numbers for any state. I was playing Arizona and some others there were 3 security guards watching. Two other people were cashing tickets. Another dream was an advertisement on fl highway for Florida's powerball.

So if I ever win a jackpot...
I didn't think that was the question, Guesser. I thought the question was if winning the lottery would expedite a person's legal status for US Citizenship. Being a popular tourist spot, FL has had a few winners from other countries. Their rules state that if a person does not have a U.S. social security card, 30% will automatically be deducted for federal income tax. We have no state income tax or it would probably be more. I'm not sure if that's an IRS rule, but I'm guessing it is.

Restaurant workers split $4 million lottery jackpot
with what is said above. But as anyone knows, if you buy tickets for a lottery pool, you better be buying those tickets at a different store at a different time, than your own personal purchase! That way the others in the pool have to answer the question to the lottery office as to where the winning ticket was purchased! We have all read here on the LP about the lottery office asking the person who presents the winning ticket to them as to where it was purchased and what date it was purchase
