4 tickets win $330 million lottery jackpot
IN an update to this story on the 1010wins website the Maryland Lottery director said that the odds of winning were the same as being struck by lighting in the same spot at the same time every day for a week . that is gross exaggeration, the odds of being struck by lighting are 100K to 1 or thereabouts so the odds of being in the same spot every day for a week and a lightning storm happening every day for a week in that location etc. must be at least in the trillions. Anyway anytime the odds ar

how much do you spend each drawing on powerball/mega millions?
Like Just6ntlc, I don't spend any money on PB or MM. Even when I'm in an area where these tickets are sold, I feel that the odds are too great. I made 2 mistakes...I previously said: Here is the amazing part: The same scenario occurs with the 31 E/O types...Also of those 31 E/O types, 10 are the most rare ones so if you like you can eliminate the 10 that rest and that leaves you with 21...Now If you go FORWARD so many draws from the first PB draw 'til 4/21/07
here is what i meant to say: Here is the amazing part: The same scenario occurs with the 31 E/O types...Also of those 31 E/O types, 10 are the most rare ones so if you like

You make the call...
These are the type of people that will tell you fire can't melt steel, pi is of apple, blueberry, etc.. mathematically or factually challenged people are everywhere. Here is an odds explanation that is pretty good that moderator left out the reduction of the set size. This is off a lottery math site discussing whether it is better to spend $50 on 1 game or $1 on 50 games.
The odds of a Lotto style lottery can be found with the formula: n! / (n - r)! r! where n is the highest numbered ball

50/50 Odds
I've always seen the lotto as having two possibilities, you either win, or you don't.
