Two siblings from Maryland who convinced multiple local residents to pay taxes and fees in advance of collecting on nonexistent lottery winnings entered guilty pleas Thursday in federal court. The two men accepted plea agreements in which they will pay $728,442.18 in restitution. Each count of wire fraud carries a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison, but

Michigan Lottery cracks down on retailers who cheat customers
I have experienced many shady lottery retailers in Michigan over the years! 3 strikes you're out and that is when I stop playing at your location. #1 - Clerk does not clear the machine. This can happen by accident and I totally understand but there were three locations in which this happened every time. One of them is no longer selling lottery, go figure. 7-Eleven clerk even tried several times to insist the monitor displayed to me shows I owe $40 so that's what I owe, I said no, I owe you $2

Lottery rigger warned officials about computerized drawing machines years ago
NG, I should have Googled it first. It was Escape from Alcatraz. My mistake, I got my prison movies mixed up. At least I was in the right state. Either way, it was a good movie. Yep. He spotted the flaw, while he was trying to scam the system. If they had looked into it, maybe he would have deleted his program and not done it. But they didn't and he did. And as they say, the rest is history.

Retired N.J. police chief scammed 95-year-old victim out of $29K
I have little sympathy for either of them. The lottery scam is well worn and pre-dates the world-wide-web. Furthermore, many lotteries post bulletins warning people of such scams; lottery will never ask for money to redeem a prize. Also, one must have bought a ticket or entered a drawing to win. It's sad how powerful the force of greed is to cause some to convince themselves that they can win without participating, and sending money to claim money is a normal thing. At $200 minimum per mon

Is YOUR Money on "Money"?
So tell me. Are ya watching the big fight tonite? Did ya call your bookie and lay down a few bucks on Floyd Money Mayweather? There's a 500 million dollar total purse up for grabs tonite. Money Mayweather will collect $300 mill, and Connor McGregor gets $200 million. But the fight's not gonna end in a knock out of McGregor. Nope. It's goin' the distance. That's because in a re-match, there's possibly a one billion dollar total purse. This aint quite as big a scam as Bernie Madoff's, but i

What are your thoughts on the various lottery systems & books out there?
I agree with you in your first paragraph. The key here is if the system is a winning formula. Do you all really think that Steve Player and these other idiots who really want to scam people will give you their secrets? Waste of money. Waste of money.

cant win for nothing in NY
Lucid whatever you are doing it produced 3 straight box winners in 3 days . Certainly a hell of a lot better than that lotto odds website which i tried for a few months and got nothing out of it. $10 a month down the toilet. Not sure if you are familiar with the site but its run by a guy David Menmeth . It does produce a few winners by filtering out hundreds of numbers pick 3 pick 4 etc but its up to you to do the most of the work and in the long run you end up lighting money on fire. I played a

Virginia woman conned out of nearly $30,000
The bank tellers had to be suspicious of someone withdrawing that type of money....especially an older person. I bet the lady didn't tell the tellers why she was doing it otherwise they would have called the police and told her she was being scammed. There is more to this story, but I bet that the scam artists told the lady to lie to the tellers when they asked about why she was withdrawing that type of money and the lady went along with it. I grew up in West Palm Beach, FL (god's waiting roo
