Maybe when a lottery does a roll over thats your chance
This makes as much sense as saying that the heat from the Lottery terminal machines is causing Global Warming. Your odds of matching are whatever they are based on how many tickets you buy. The more tickets that are sold in general the less chance of a rollover. It's only natural for there to be some tickets having the same numbers, and being such high odds that often there is only one winner. The last big Mega had 2 winners both having QP I believe which busts any conspiracy theory about QP blo

Why Quick Picks win...Hint: It's *NOT* what you think, folks!
Exactly. With jp games and odds of more than a million to one, there's nothing the player can do to reduce the odds against him/her significantly. That's why many people like to play the Daily Games (especially Pick 3 with odds of hitting a straight only 1000 to 1 against you) In that game at least, you have a chance of reducing the odds against you.
But the main point of playing/picking your numbers in a jp game isn't that you're reducing the odds against you. It's the experience of pi

KENO....Any State...Help wanted
I have played Keno in New York (QuickDraw), Maryland, DC, and West Virginia, and in each of those states, the best odds to win any prize are on a 4 spot game. I believe the odds are 1:3.8 or so. If you are looking for the best chance of winning, buy more 4 spot tickets. Worst odds in said states are typically 2 spot games at 1:16.3 or so.

Help Me Please!!
I agree with the other members here, dont play more money than you can loose. I have been playing for a few years and the odds that you will win are not in your favor. a good system for choosing numbers lowers the odds against you, but the odds still favor the house. play for fun.

Probabilty of Someone Winning a PB & MM Jackpot in the same Week!
No matter how many tickets are played only one combination can win, and of 175,711,536 combinations only one can be drawn.
But Coin....
People are saying if I buy 2 tickets I'm cutting the odds in half and buying 10 tickets will reduce the odds to 17.5 million to 1. So I took their advice and bought 10 tickets but when I got home, read the Mega Millions website and looked at my tickets; I think I got ripped off!!!
When I looked at my 10 tickets, I noticed I had 10 different mega ball

Coin Toss,
No one on this side is disputing your point. Each individual ticket is up against the same odds. We are all in agreement.
Maybe a better way for us to phrase the cutting odds conundrum is: the second ticket, in conjunction with the first, cuts the odds by 1/2. The third ticket, in conjunction with the second and first, cuts the remaining odds by 1/3. The 567th ticket, in conjunction with the previous 566 tickets, cuts the remaining odds by 1/567th.
