7-7-7 was a lucky day!!
My question Mr or Mrs Gods Honest truth is how did your dad buy a raffle ticket the day before the drawing and you win the jackpot prize when the highest ticket for the jackpot was 183895?? If your dad bought the ticket the day before the draw and they only sold 500000 ticket then his ticket should be in the 400000-500000 range and not a $1,000,000 winner.

Added Maryland raffle bonus draw results
Thanks for the update Four4me. Wasnt sure how you knew the ticket sales til I read you just got one again today. I for one, am your across the Dixon line player. Financially speaking...I'll get taxed 33% fed, a wonderful 6% by your state and then again a 3-5% by my PA for lottery winnings from out of state. So all total a whopping 44% of even the grandprize will be with held due to tax laws. So if MD wants any out of staters to buy into their raffle, they need to wave some of these taxes

Those "raffle" lottery games
tennessees raffle didnt sell out until the final weekend so some people think all the winners will be sold closer to the drawing date in the raffles so they wait but i dont wait because i dont want to risk missing my chance to get a ticket because of a quick sellout...

if you found a winning ticket that wasn't yours
thats ownership of who-so ever signed it but he must have possession of the ticket to turn it in and get paid I bought a PA raffle ticket a couple of weeks ago and was given a receipt saying where I got it and to put my name, address, and phone number on the back of the raffle ticket. Most people probably don't put their names on the back of their tickets and might not notice they lost a $1 ticket, but they might remember they bought a ticket with 5 or 10 combination

Massachusetts Lottery's Star Spangled Sweepstakes results
I had hoped Ky would do this with their raffle game seeing it is no where close to selling out. They haven't sold half of the tickets and the drawing was to be held Saturday but they have moved the draw back to who knows when.

Those "raffle" lottery games
That's too bad, justxploring. I'm really hoping someone from Lottery Post wins something too on one of those raffles. As soon as my state posts the raffle results I'll let you guys know if I was a lucky one or just another loser.
