D.C. Lottery hopes raffle will bring fiscal successReply
This raffle seems like a dog to me, one top prize. DC is computer drawn. When this guy hit 6X on two tix. it kinda made me feel better about playing computer drawn games, but for all we know they've readjusted the RNG, hard to say. The Rodmans store is one that I go to sometimes for PBall and Dc6. They have a great wine selection there, with advisors and all.

I was shocked that this raffle did not sell out early, it is still going. Which is actually good, as I believe they draw from only the tickets bought. So far less than 175,000 is left. I also think it is stupid that the odds are the same for the $100,000 prize as the million. There should be about 5 more $100,000 prizes.

That's horrible! I think one of the reasons I just decided to buy one was because if I kept debating the pros and cons in my mind, by the time I actually decided to buy one they would have all been sold out! In the past the raffle tickets have sold quickly in Michigan! Good luck to everyone who has decided to buy one! I wouldn't mind being just one of the 2500 people who will win $500. That would make me incredibly happy!

Last week I drove to PA and bought a $20 raffle ticket. There are also five $100,000 winners, 200 $1000 winners and 7567 $100 winners so the overall odds of winning anything are 1 in 80.

Well, I did it. I bought 1 of the raffle tickets. I guess I'll see whether or not it was worth it in about a week. Apparently the Michigan lottery says it will draw the winners a week after the last ticket is sold, so I won't have to wait long to find out. Stay tuned and I'll let you know if I win anything.

GA bumped their raffle draw date back to 7/7. It was supposed to be tomorrow (6/30) but still have over 230K tickets to sell.

It is most certainly a computer that draws the numbers. I think El Gordo is the only game in the world to draw a huge raffle with a lottery ball tumbler. Have you seen the size of it? And it takes hours.

I can't wait to win the next millionaire raffle. $750,000 is plenty for me, and at 5% interest that is about $37,500 a year, which I can turn into millions over several years by living modestly enough. It will all add up fast, and before you know it I will be getting about $100,000 a year in interest. It IS a lot of money if you know how to invest it.
