Speaking of raffles, I'm wonering how the KY raffle is going to go off. They're selling 500,000 tickets for the drawing 7-7-07. I just bought a ticket this morning and it was 109,000. There is only 27 days left before the draw and I hope they don't sell them all so I have a better chance at one of those $500,000 prizes.

I'd have to totally disagree with you on this one. Any income under 600 bucks is not taxable income. That also is applied to any monies received by anyone under 600 bucks. Whether it's a gift or prize money from a radio station raffle or whatever.

While in Wildwood, GA today I purchased gas for an amazing $2.85 per gallon and waited in line for 10 minutes for people buying these raffle tickets. I learned my lesson last winter. Good luck tnlotto1.

I won 50.00 in the cars and cash raffle they had the last time. It wasn't that much but it still gave me and people in line at the Publix a big thrill hearing the dinging going off on the lotto machine and we all wondered what I had won.

Pac, that's like putting one of those Brinks or ADT signs on your lawn without actually having a burglar alarm. It's just a sign!
