After the Win: Who do you consult?
Everyone tells you to talk to professionals after you win, but they don't say which ones. What kind of lawyer do you consult? Definitely not one of those social security disability lawyers. But which kind? A tax attorney? One that specializes in wills and trusts? How do you check reputations? I think it should be easier to find a good financial planner. As long as they're fee for service (never go with one of those percentage of asset deals). Who else should you talk to? Anyone have any

checking lotto tickets..
I can't believe anyone checking tickets in a store. It's far easier to check them at home using the state's website or this one. If it matches you check both websites and then call the lottery office to confirm it with the security code on the ticket. If it's under 500 I just wait until a game gets big then deal with it.
I only check the tickets though after someone has claimed the prize. I want to hold on to the illusion that I still have a chance of winning.

Imagine if you won PB and MM
So you woudn't want the same lifestyle and benefits as Oprah? You woudn't want instant access to the finest eatiing establishments, hotels and travel facilities in the world? You woudn't like your parents and grandparents to experience the joys of luxury, including medical facilities that could allow them to live years beyond what they will now live? You have no interest in obtaining generations of security for your children, their children, and a hundred generations of children to come? Sin

what would worry you the most??
All that you mentioned, but must of all I would worry about the publicity. Florida lets everyone know who won. I think if I were to millions, I'd get a bodyguard, a lawyer, a financial advisor, maybe legally change my name and move to another state or out of the country. There are people out there who think you won their money, crazy as it seems. I think I would handle things well, since my main goal is security. I don't need lots of luxuries. After I got settled I would help family and friends

what would worry you the most??
Financial security in itself is a great thing, especially since it allows for mistakes. Plus as I said before anyone with even half a brain can transform their windfall into even more lucritive prospects, and create many more opportunities for others in the economy.
I don't believe in the way this economy is set up as far as money is concerned, and how it controls everything. But what else can you do except utilize it as best as you can to your own advantage?

Record Powerball lottery winner gets endorsement offer
Any time Chucky Sumer and that skank-slug from California is regurgitating words of wisdom, hold your nose and grab a barf bag. Chucky, the leading American who would would rather see you lying dead in the gutters of New York City, then have the chance to defend yourself. Barbara Box would look down and say, whats the problem? I can afford body guards, why can't you? Two people who have gotten rich off laws they have written, complaining about two Americans who got rich the old fashioned way

Reaction
I have spent a lifetime controlling my emotions; mostly with success. I have documented, in 14-point, everything I need to think about and what I need to do until I can get away and have time to think. It doesn't matter how excited I get, as long as I control the blood pressure. I have a plan and just have to follow it. Get friends together. Get family together. Enjoy several suites in some place like the Waldorf in NYC. Close to all the important banks, security, and luxury you have neve
