what is the playing number on sc raffle tickets?
For anyone interested, SC DID NOT sell all 1 million raffle tickets. I also learned from a lottery official that the proposed new 6 number game will start out at $250,000 rollover each time it's not hit. I was,nt informed of when or if the 6 number game will begin.

Raffle or Not?
I agree with KY Floyd about the odds. The only reason I checked yes is because there wasn't a choice about the price, just the odds. If raffle tickets were $5, I would probably buy a ticket. I'd like to see a couple of smaller tier prizes added. (maybe $5,000 or $1,000) The overall odds of winning were much less than some games, especially the scratch tickets. It was the ad that said 10 people will have the best odds ever of becoming millionaires on January 1 that got everyone's attenti

Any more Raffles coming up ?
The NY raffle actually will be a scratch ticket. And given the recent history of the NY Lottery, it's almost certain that the million-dollar prizes will be annuity-only.

New York Lottery making some changes

To accomplish that they are adding one new game and two changes. The first is a new limited scratchoff game called Raffle to Riches. Under this new format the lottery will print only 1.5 million Raffle to Riches tickets. It ends on Feb. 8, or when they're sold out. Out of those 1.5 million $20 tickets, there will be 12 winne

Most state lottery raffle games sold out
Kentucky's raffle game tickets go on sale tomorrow. The ticket price is $10 each. There will be two $1,000,000 prizes, two $50,000 prizes, thirty $10,000 prizes, and seven hundred $500 prizes. Only 500,000 tickets will be sold. I plan to buy one ticket first thing tomorrow. It's totally luck, but my luck will be as good as anybody's. I guess it's worth a shot.
