alittle odd...
Some people just post to post and don't really care about what they post about, but for those very few that might care other than the poster of the thread who doesn't seem to:
When the odds of winning are so bad as that, even 1 000 combos might not in practice change the odds at all, yes not at all, the odds in practice might still be the same or about the same, now if the game was a 5/35 or 5/37 game then maybe 1 000 might matter some, but not very much either.
Odds of 1/1 000 or so are n

Possibility of the "Impossible"
Yep, Mega may have very high odds but that's counterbalanced by its very high population.

At what point (matrix) would you not play
I don't bet more than #1 on the PB now. Regardless of how high the odds, I'd probably still bet a buck. But that's about all it's worth. After all, each combination has the same odds against it. You can't lower your odds any better by getting 100 tickets and spending $100 than you get spending $1 and getting one ticket.

CA SLP
Here's the problem JimmySand9, CA's population is at 37+ million and CA SLP Jackpot odds are at 41.5 million to 1. That's why CA should keep the 5+1 bonus game. If they go back to 6/49 or 6/51, more people will keep winning. I want computerized drawings OUT. I would suggest CA SLP increase the odds of winning the jackpot by increasing a few WBs, but keep odds of winning at around 1 in 25.
